Watching an older episode of Pickers while eating lunch. They were in Kentucky running some back roads. On coming traffic was a P15 4 door followed by something I didn't catch enough of to ID. the Plymouth look a lot like Don C's ride.

Don you been nosing around KY. lately??

Been mostly keeping my nose out of trouble but I have done some crusing on the Kentucky back roads. How old was this film clip?

Tried to find the episode on the website but couldn't locate the specific one. I don;t think it was a new one. Looked like summer, full green foliage.

It was just a drive by withthe camera car following the white van down what looks like a state highway.

We have a Canadian Pickers up here and they featured a place just north of the city owned by 85 yr old Archie... a real wonderland of oddities. A buddy and I went there one sunny Saturday in August.

There, buried under some other junk was this:

A huge long Walker 4 ton floor jack...$50!!!

I was going to dismantle it and restore it but I thought I would just lube everything and fill it first just to see if by chance it worked...and it does! Rebuild kits are available for the cylinder and the wheels are worn down very thin but all in all it's in good shape so I'll leave it as a survivor...just power wash it and use it.

Canadian pickers has all episodes online...just as interesting as AP

That episode was pretty good. The guy inherited his dads house and that Plymouth was jambed into the basement with a couple other cars, not to mention the stuff on the lot. If I recall they where afraid to go near the property due the owners postings outside; "will shoot on sight".

Andy Rooney moment here....Have you ever noticed the stuff they find on Ameican pickers, shows up on the Restorer show then in the Pawn Stars place, or in the store then being restored??? Do you think that's reality, or do you think the writers run out of stuff to write about??? Do you think it's fair they call this stuff reality? I don't!

It's entertaining enough if you don't look to closely, don't pick at the corners, but the stuff the so called experts don't know is irratating, isn't it?? I think so.

Greg, its like the majority of the car magazines..they are mostly owned by one publication company..these show you speak of, the wife watches..I hear them on while at the computer...yes this stuff does seem to run full circle..my guess is that of your's..same producers..I'd rather watch reruns of NCIS than this malarky

He doesnt even know what it is. Its a 40.

Then there's the Model A that he paid retail price for...

Just because it's old doesn't mean it's valuable. "I've got million year old rocks in my back yard that I have to pay to have removed."
