DON"T give up!!! My wife has many health problems and when she was diagnosed with breast cancer the outfit nearest to us basically sent her home to die. They wouldn't treat her because of past/other health issues, blah, blah, etc. Truth is, they were not up to date on their technology. We did some research and ended up in Seattle and now she's considered cancer-free, although she will continue some meds for almost another year. They are making strides in their research and technology daily. Keep after it-most of what cured my wife was scoffed at not all that long ago. It's now mainstream medicine. I won't soft-soap it: it ain't easy and it ain't cheap, but you can do it!!!

There is a meeting between the doctors and family members tomorrow morning. Terri will probably be released either tomorrow or Saturday. She is going to her daughters home to stay so they can do the hollistic thing and some help from Hospice.

Tommy;

I fully understand what you are dealing with. My wife has been in Columbus, Ohio for going on 3 months tending to her younger brother who has terminal cancer. He, as well as his (and my wifes) mother who also had terminal cancer are working with Hospice. Hospice cared for my mother-in law to the end with the best respect and dignity. They are the best! All of my monitary donations go to them! I am not one to pray but believe me you have my best thoughts. Do everything in your power to make things enjoyable.

Tom, I really don't know what to say, except that I hope you can find some relief by spending time on the forum and tinkering with the old cars. I pray the best for all..............Tim

That's why I'm here..(not that I'm not here anyways) It sure helps. Terri was discharged today around 4:00 pm and is at her daughter Laura's house 15 miles from me. Tomorrow she starts her regiment of holistics, plus help from Hospice. Thanks Tim for the kind words!!

Well guys....Terri didn't respond at all to the hollistics, so as of 3pm this afternoon she was transported to a Hospice in Palm Bay about 10 miles from me. Her daughter, son-in-law and I took turns giving her pain meds, feeding her, etc.... It's only a matter of time now...:( I really appreciate all the kind words for her. BTW.. I had a talk with a person in Dr. Burzynski's office in Houston and there's nothing they could do 'cause it's an outpatient facility.

Tom, I have been exactly where you are right now when my wife of 32 years passed away in July 2007 as I was holding her hand, also of cancer, and I also know it's not a good place to be, in fact thus far the hardest thing in my life I have ever had to deal with. It's hard to know what more to say, other than take care of yourself now, and God's peace to you and your family. Joel

Tom, so sorry to hear the news of Terri's passing. My sincerest condolences to you and family in these difficult times. Take comfort in the thought that maybe she was required to perform special tasks in a higher place. I am sure that she will be watching over you.

God bless.
