J Edgar is looking good! I need to get tires for my coupe, I have wide white walls now, but the black walls look good on J Edgar. I may switch to black walls.

Yea but when was the last time folks saw a big butt coupe at the show. Don't matter about the trophy, just bring it out for folks to look at a unusual body style.

Shel,

Ask Greg about my "Wayback Machine" she looks good in photos, but up close, lots of dings, faded paint, not to mention some cancer, but by gosh I drive her and enjoy her. I was told years ago at a show in Camden, NY when I apologized for being parked next to a beautiful '41 Plymouth by that Plymouth's owner, never to be ashamed of our cars, as they are great, not matter what condition they are in. I have always remember what the owner said and tried to live by it

So if you can, take J Edgar to the show this weekend, you won't be disappointed:)

That's a great pic of a 3-window coupe. I love these cars so much that I put an ad in for one in the late 70's in the WPC bulletin and got a 48 DeSoto 3-window coupe from a guy in Idyllwild, CA. It is now undergoing a restoration. Hope to get it running this summer.
