P-12 Tommy Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 What kind of tool do you think it is? Tom Quote
Niel Hoback Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 Heheheheheeheh,, go ahead,,, i'm waitin. Quote
Scruffy49 Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 Looks more like a jet wrench. You know, the little brass dots with a hole in them in your carb. A regular screwdriver can actually destroy a jet pretty quickly. All it takes is a slip of the wrong size screwdriver and you have in effect jetted down, leaning out your fuel mix. Quote
Don Coatney Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 Heheheheheeheh,, go ahead,,, i'm waitin. You go first:D Quote
Niel Hoback Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 Well, first you gotta take it to dinner and a show,,,,,,,,,,,, Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 jet wrench?????...have you ever seen a barrel nut driver? Quote
randroid Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 Gents, Looks just like a spring loaded punch I used to have. Could use it as a nail set but it was intended to make a precision mark in metal, etc. -Randy Quote
Big_John Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 Yep, screw starter for slotted screws. Twist the top it locks the slot of the screw to the end. Don't need a romantic dinner and a couple drinks for this one. Quote
P-12 Tommy Posted May 2, 2011 Author Report Posted May 2, 2011 Dodgeb4ya,Don and Big John are right. It's a spring loaded slotted screw starter. It works good on those itty bitty srews in the dizzy. It's been a time saver. Some guy I worked with in a Dodge dealership gave me that back in the mid 80's. Tom Quote

DJ194950 Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 nope again. since it's time to get out of the garage and make dinner?? it's almost the same as the first screw or bolt starter but made for philipps/tork headed items. the magnet is for retrieving the items that will still be dropped regardless of how carefull you are. have a good evening gentlemen, doug Quote
Don Coatney Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 well several of ya passed that test. several got lost. next test: clue, one end has a magnet. I think it is a Hobac picker-upper used to replace the dinner and movie:D Here is one for you. What is this tool used for? Quote

Merle Coggins Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 I think it is a Hobac picker-upper used to replace the dinner and movie:DHere is one for you. What is this tool used for? I know that tool, and I regret to say that I've used it. I certainly wouldn't want it used on me. It is used to install castration rubber bands. We also used them for removing horns. Merle Quote
Big_John Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 nope. kinda-maybe in the family.try again? The magnetic end, yes, that could be for phillips screws, but the end showing sure looks like a nut starter to me. Just like this one: http://www.generaltools.com/Nut-Starter_p_396.html Quote
