Young Ed Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 Wow that looks like fun. Nice to know they are still keeping the v10 alive since the viper is dead. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted March 24, 2011 Author Report Posted March 24, 2011 The Viper story along with the Prowler was both an exercise in "It can be done" the Viper was the platform for the V10 which was inital sole design was truck use. Of course you know the toy tech could not leave that alone. The Prowler..lots of folks say hey what is the big deal..just another rod car...well yes in appearance that is so..but how many of these so called rods on the road today of fiberglass kit or reworked original steel tub meets all Federal safety requirement and still be able to retain that rod look..answer..nobody.. I am happy to see this car available..you ask why..it is Mopars way of backdooring the big engine transplants..though not street legal for them to sell this configuration..it is legal to sell the components..by making it plug and play..V-room you on the road in quick time.. hkestes41 Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 A bargain at only $100,007 with the optional rollcage and optional paint color (white std). With sales tax here in Plano, TX that makes it $108,257.58. Quote
Don Coatney Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 This pufferbelly might be more affordable with todays gas prices. Quote

Plymouthy Adams Posted March 24, 2011 Author Report Posted March 24, 2011 I made a similar comment to my friend as we viewed this at the same time..not only is he a law breaker..but a habitual offender as well..while I did not scrutnize the film for a registration plate, one was not readly apparant..and lord knows if he was insured at the time.. There's a new version scheduled for 2012 production. BTW, did you know if you turn the Viper hood emblem upside down, it looks like Daffy Duck? Quote
