Interesting woody convertible seen in Netherlands

About ten years ago I saw a very similar car like the one inthe picture. I can not tell if it was the same car but had the same body and wooden sides. It might have been a Desoto but it definately was a Mopar that I saw.

If you do a close look, and a little research, it looks like most of the

body is actually a Pontiac of about 46 to 48 vintage, with a D24

grille and bumpers.

..And here is both a convertible and a woodie made by a manufacturer in the USA after the war -not too many made but he had a large plant "down south"...:)

You might be alluding to the nearly famous Wood Car Company, of Oregon City, Oregon. Some Wood Car Company custom built cars have actually been recognized as authentic and published in several national car club magazines. It takes a certain imagination to conjure up an imaginary Woody car company.

Is this one of those cars manufactured by the imaginary Woody company I recently read something about?
