BobT-47P15 Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 A hybrid to say the least......... Quote
martybose Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 Probably built by someone who really doesn't like their inlaws .......... Marty Quote
desoto1939 Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 About ten years ago I saw a very similar car like the one inthe picture. I can not tell if it was the same car but had the same body and wooden sides. It might have been a Desoto but it definately was a Mopar that I saw. Rich Hartung:confused: Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted December 29, 2010 Author Report Posted December 29, 2010 If you do a close look, and a little research, it looks like most of the body is actually a Pontiac of about 46 to 48 vintage, with a D24 grille and bumpers. Quote
Frank Elder Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 What waste of dodge parts.....you know it is interesting a strange way, most people are replacing the dodge grill when they customize a d-24. Quote
Don Coatney Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 Is this one of those cars manufactured by the imaginary Woody company I recently read something about? Quote
T120 Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 ..And here is both a convertible and a woodie made by a manufacturer in the USA after the war -not too many made but he had a large plant "down south"... Quote
Charlie Olson Posted December 30, 2010 Report Posted December 30, 2010 You might be alluding to the nearly famous Wood Car Company, of Oregon City, Oregon. Some Wood Car Company custom built cars have actually been recognized as authentic and published in several national car club magazines. It takes a certain imagination to conjure up an imaginary Woody car company. Is this one of those cars manufactured by the imaginary Woody company I recently read something about? Quote
