I have owned them) 2. Colour scheme 3. Dash 4. Wheels stick out 5. painted bumpers 6. etc However, it is a fine example of a butchered car. I don't much like rods although some look pretty good. This one doesn't. Quote
dezeldoc Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 I remember that roach! not even it's mother could love that ugly beast!! Quote
Adam H P15 D30 Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 YUCK!! That car needs a lot of work Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 Does not have a good stance......... Could they possibly have made the dash any more ugly?..... Grille not very pretty either.......along with several other things. Someone did it their way. Quote
moparbenny Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 i remember that thread!...didn't some of us get scolded for some of are comments? Quote

chopt50wgn Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 they say........" beauty is in the eye of the beholder".........well blind in one eye and can't see out of the other here..........to each there own. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 are you saying that car makes patina look good..? as in, that won't buff out? Quote
Don Coatney Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 Wow! All the unregistered Boo Birds came out of the woodwork on this one. I do wonder why there is not one picture of the engine, and why a "boost" gauge? Is there a huffer on this fine running shiverlay engine? Quote
Reg Evans Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 That one hurts me to look at. I'm gonna try and forget it by staring at this one for a while. Come on Lottery ! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260694234231&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT Quote
Robert Horne Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 I had a 50 Fastback just before I went to Vietnam. One of my favorite cars. The guy should put on the "wheel skirts". If I did not have 5 projects going, I would buy this car. I have a 56 Flathead that would be very nice sitting in it. Quote
falconvan Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 I'd call that first one a very good starting point. If the bodywork was done right and it's not full of cancer underneath, you could make that into a nice car with a little work. Quote
Frank Elder Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!:D:eek: Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 come on Frankie, don't hold back, tell us what you really think...lots of boo bird wanna-bes commenting on this car...sometimes it is nice not looking at the pictures.. Quote
Frank Elder Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 Butt tooo high, ugly rims, butcher job on the grill and somebody was smoking crack when the interior was nuked.......take a breath.........this car is a fine example of what not to do to any make or model of any car existing or will exist in the world. And they actually want to be paid for it. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 Now, the black one in Oregon that Reg posted is a whole nother story. Nice......kept similar to original.......and has overdrive. Quote
