Obviously you didn't scroll down far enough to see all the cool parts lying on the ground...:rolleyes:. Maybe the price is in Japanese yen not US dollars.

I'd buy it for 4500 JPY..:D

Oh ya I saw them. Have most of them already scattered around my basement. Just no crusty convert to bolt them all back onto.

OK, I have a question about the jack in the last picture of the listing for the convertible. I found one in a parts car that is just like it so I am wondering if that is the original style? If it is, what do you put the jack under as it seems it does not come out far enough to catch the bumper because of the curve the bumper have. I was going to ebay it but was not sure if it is for our cars or not. If it is for our cars, and I can figure out how to use it, it will go in the trunk of my coupe. Any thoughts about the jack appreciated.

Several years ago I bought the jack pictured below found in the trunk of the car also pictured below. I was told by someone on this forum that the jack pictured below is incorrect for a P-15 even though it fits the bumper contour.

Thanks, Don. That is what I would assume the jack would look like and I am sure it would work well on our cars. However, the one I found and the one in the ad for the convertible are the same but I can not see how they would work. Any other thoughts out there.

Looks like the one I took out of that old 42 I found a few years ago also!

Likely the original style but where do you put it when you lift the car? I just can't see it fitting under the bumper. Is there a piece missing? I am just curious.

My '51 and '52 have the L-shaped lifting section, as did our original '52. My father's car slipped off the jack once, so he got a 'hook' style bumper jack and didn't use the original again.

:) Maybe that's the reason for using the wheel block shown in the jacking instructions...

I does go under the bumper.

Not sure it's the safest jack ever invented, but it works.

Just need to be cautious and also block the wheels.

Thanks a lot, Bob. That helps a bunch and it looks like I have an original style jack for my D25 Coupe. I appreciate the picture as it shows it should work fine.

Well, just for good measure, I usually carry my small floor jack nowadays,

hidden between the back seat and the panel at front of the trunk.

However, that floor jack will not raise the rear end (body) enough to remove

a back tire......have to use the original under the bumper to gain

clearance.
