Mike@DRH Posted October 12, 2010 Report Posted October 12, 2010 If you need Small Block Chevy head bolts you could take a short drive to Hastings and you can have (for free) as many as you need. They have all been thru the shaker and are nice and clean and pretty. Mike Quote

Shock mount I got from a trip out to French Lake. Front Mount damper from Ebay (the guy in Turkey). Funny thing was I was going to put the old one in till the new one showed up and as we were setting the engine the mail came and the box from Turkey was there! Quote
Young Ed Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 Front engine mount. When I touched the steel piece for the front mount a while back the rubber broke in two. I think I'll need a new one Quote
1937 Dodge Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 Clean looking frame up resto. Engine looks great. Nice job. Keep sending us photo updates. Quote
Young Ed Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 Not sure how much of a concern it is but my engine came back from the rebuilder with tape and no paint where the manifold gaskets go. Quote
Merle Coggins Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 That paint will buff off fairly easy with a Scotch Brite disc in a drill or die grinder before installing the studs and manifolds. At least that's what I did. I'd be more concerned with paint on the tappets. Looks good so far. Merle Quote

Good part and all that jazz. Quote
