41/53dodges Posted June 7, 2010 Report Posted June 7, 2010 looks like it actually didnt do too bad. looks like just a hood, grille, bumper, and straighten the frame. maybe a radiator and it would be all set again. i would hope. Quote
Flatie46 Posted June 7, 2010 Report Posted June 7, 2010 I wonder if there's a piece of foam pinched outta the seat where the driver sits? Quote
Young Ed Posted June 7, 2010 Report Posted June 7, 2010 That is repairable. Frame shop and a front clip. Possibly not even new fenders. Gonna need a radiator or a good recore. Don't ask me how I know this...... Quote
48Dodger Posted June 7, 2010 Report Posted June 7, 2010 Dodge Pilot-House 1, Light pole 0......lol. No head shot to the windshield...Im thinking the driver did pretty good and loaded the wood into his truck and drove home. 48D Quote
buds truck Posted June 7, 2010 Report Posted June 7, 2010 really repairable, just not cost effective for an insurance company. someone will put that on the road again I would think Quote
41/53dodges Posted June 7, 2010 Report Posted June 7, 2010 insurance probably says its totaled, just to save a couple grand and buy a new truck. (how does that work?) Quote
Merle Coggins Posted June 7, 2010 Report Posted June 7, 2010 He must not have had collector car insurance. I can't see the repairs costing more than the value. I have a hard time believing anyone with a truck that nice would let their insurance company total it. Merle Quote
rustyzman Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 That would be a bad day. Sucks to see a nice old truck with a pole dimple in its chin. At least he hit square in the middle. If that had struck clean on a bumper bracket that frame would be parrallelogrammed for sure. Hope somebody fixes it. Quote
woodscavenger Posted June 21, 2010 Report Posted June 21, 2010 wow, didn't even kill the ram ornament. it's 5 window cab with good floor boards Quote
