RobertKB Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 I occasionally see some posts that are a bit mean spirited when it comes to certain members. I really don't like to see these on this forum as it has always had a lot of give and take and friendliness. Might I suggest that if you find a particular member annoying to add them to your Ignore List found under User CP. I will use myself as an example. If you get tired or me always saying how I like cars stock, keep them stock, nice car because it's stock, etc, just go to the Ignore List, type in my user name, and click. No more RobertKB. That feature is there for a reason, so please use if you are not prepared to ignore someone's posts. Quote
dezeldoc Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 Or the second option, if you see who made the post and don't like them DON"T OPEN IT!! Quote
Normspeed Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 Robert, I've used the ignore list a couple of times and yes, it's handy. If I recall correctly, you still see the thread, it just blanks out the ignored member's posts. I don't think I've added to it after that toy car guy was hanging around:D But, come on, admit it, your 53 would look great chopped, channeled, sectioned, pancaked, primered, and powered by a SBC.... Norm, Norm, Norm. I don't have anyone on the Ignore List but you might be the first. Everyone knows I would put a big block Chevy in it. Quote

Don Coatney Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 What happens if one puts there own name on there ignore list? Do they then not read there own postings? Or if anyone has a really big ego they could put everyone on there ignore list and only read there own postings... Quote
