Last year I drove my Plymouth 1728 miles which until this year was the most mileage I had driven the car in the 20 plus years that I have had the car, Well today my wife and I put 40 some odd miles on the Plymouth, I now have 2007 miles driven this season. Needless to say I am very pleased. Even with all the rain we have had, plus it being laid up while I waited for and installed another tranny in June.

Just had to share my happiness:)

Good job. Thats what the cars are for. I hit the 10K mile mark for the ply. I've done about 3k this summer and last. Next summer will probably be less since I dont think I'll be going to the POC meet.

That's what old cars are all about. Driving and enjoying them. I don't imagine anyone with a trailer queen gets as much enjoyment from his car as you do!

Tim do you need an onstaff driver? I'll keep the fluids moving in those cars. I'd for sure like to have a spin in one of those little v8 british babies

Richie and his wife Honey took the Tiger for a spin the last get together...he is the 4th person to ever drive the puppy...now if you were to drive down for the get togehter the 31th..you may be lucky #5...you got to remeber Richie left a Hudson for collateral..lol

Tim I'd only have a lowly plymouth to leave. Id be tempted not to come back.

Since we are suppose to get some rain, and possible snow as the week progresses, I took the Plymouth out again this afternoon, on was on a Robert Frost type of road, so I was able to stop to take this photo without the worry of getting rear ended I think it shows the fall colors here in the Catskills of NY pretty good

Now the old Plymouth is sitting in her bay in the garage, first time she has been in the garage since June when I changed the tranny.

I surely am not looking forward to parking her for the winter, but I am thankfull for all the trouble free miles she has given me this past driving season, as I image all us Plymouth owners are.

I also included one of my co-pilot on most of the miles on the Plymouth this summer, my "Mini Cooper"

This is truley a great forum,

Bob

Bob, when we were down your way a couple weeks a go, we returned home via route 213 from Stone Ridge up through Pheonecia, and then 42 to 23 to Oneonta. I like the back roads to. It was a cloudy day but the colors were just starting to poke out.

Nice roads.

Bob, what is your puppys name? I hope you don't mind, I have saved the picture because, well, because it's a neat picture. More intelligent looking than several people I have met today.

Neil,

His name is Cooper, he is just over 13 months old. He is a miniature schnauzer. Someone on this forum called him a mini cooper, so that is why I call him my MINI Cooper:)

Greg,

That is a nice ride with the route you took to Oneonta.

Other than having to look forward to what comes after Fall, I think this is the most beautiful time of year with the cooler temps and colorful leaves
