Robin (UK) Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 Deano and I did the honors at a wedding, yesterday. The cars looked great. We wore vintage suits and pin-up ties. The bride and groom were a little unconventional and their guests mostly wore similar styles... They were machine punks with tattoos, studded faces and body modifications. They were all really nice people and we had a nice time. Here are a few pictures. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 Looks like fun, Robin. I can see the newlyweds do have a slightly different appearance. As long as they're happy, I'm happy for them and wish them a successful marriage. Quote
steveplym Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 You two are a couple of cool cats. Cars look great and I bet it was neat to see two P-15's in a wedding. Quote

Plymouthy Adams Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 your partner could almost pass for the character Jim Garrsion from the movie JFK as played by Kevin Costner Quote
40phil41 Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 Robin, The cars look great. We will be using our '40 and '41 Dodges in our daughter's wedding on Oct. 11. Carol says she wants to see more photos :-) Phil Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 I had never seen the white ribbon used on cars in a wedding til Robin posted a pic sometime back. Around here, not so fancy. I made the sign, and also tied several tin cans to the rear bumper - as in days gone by. The kids thought it was pretty neat. Here we are at a Sonic Drive In for a limeade en route to the reception. A year or so earlier, we had provided the same transportation for the groom's sister and her new husband. Quote
aero3113 Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 Here is how we did up the 50 Plymouth for our wedding. The ribbons matched the bridesmaids dresses. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 Cool. And a handsome couple. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 As I recall, one of their old Plyms was used when Young Ed's sister was married. The convertible I think. Quote
Richard Coney Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 Nice looking cars Robin. I'll drop you an e-mail to arrange a meeting at the Ace Cafe in due course. I've already been asked by friends to provide my D25C coupe for a wedding next year, but being a two door getting in the back is going to be too ungainly for the blushing bride. Do you only use the convert for friends or could I pass them your details? Regards, Richard Quote

Regards, Richard Hi Richard There's no problems using a 2 door coupe for a wedding, whether the brides slim or extra large...i did two last year ,taking the brides to the church then the couple to the reception...when i said i'd do the first one ,i was warned after saying yes that the bride was huge....i had no problems at all. I have one to do tomorrow afternoon....haven't met the bride yet...lol !!! Quote
