  3. Thanks for the info and link ...also the Note Plymouthy Adams I will have another go at these points meanwhile chase this guy for the proper parts Its the shipping that does the damage most....he said to sent the original parts over and he will match... thats gonna be a pain in my pocket both ways...lol
  4. Hi all again Sent off for the Tune-Up kits from a parts man...for...Distributor number 1AT4011......parts recieved but i believe he has sent the wrong bits He tells me the numbers are on the Dizzy Tag and thats what he sent...how do i read this Tag to clarify He sent part numbers Cap - AL-133 writen on the box but is actually(530225 for Studebaker).....The Carbon pin seems to get pushed home into the recess holder, gets jambed and the rotor contact dont seem to meet the HT stubs direct on Rotor - AL151 Condenser - ALC-118 Contact set - P85 which is in 2 parts and not one......when fited i dont seem to get a contact and engine dont fire over so i had to put the old one back in Help please....what parts do i need and how to read the Tag for numbers. New wires have also been done. Ian(UK)

  10. Don...If i had done my homework last month ,i could have searched for the parts in Las vegas while on holiday
  11. The part number which i have listed above is whats on the dizzy i have...all works just fine but i thought id replace the cap and rotor arm as i have no clue how long this has been in the car....when i google the numbers ,all i find is under Chrysler. All i'm after is a replacement of the cap and arm without paying heavy $$$ for the postage, thats why im looking for interchange numbers
  12. Cheers Don ?????? 217ci 6cyl is all i know...is it important to know?
  13. After sorting out a little Gas Blockage in the Carb,i've decided to look into a tune-up kit for the Dizzy. I have a P15 Sp.Dlx Club Cpe Someone years back changed the Dizzy to what i believe a 1951 Chrysler model Distibutor Number - 1343554 Rotor arm - Shurhit D-128 Cap - AL-67 Can anyone supply an interchange part nos for all these as i have found them individually on Ebay, but the postage via the UK for individual parts is hellava expensive. cheers Ian(UK)
  14. Thanks guys...i'll pass it on to him
