I don't see the number 9750800 listed for D24 on the reference section in the main part of this web site. So my assumption is that it is something other than a D24.

I suspect that someone here on the forum will have a list of Dodge serial numbers and will chip in shortly.

That is the number on the tag on the drivers door post. Is there another somewhere else? I put it in a site on Google and it said it was a 29-32 Chevy truck. It says "Special Deluxe" on the dash

Measure the head, a dodge with a special deluxe tag may be one of those canadian built deals, 25 inch head and fenders that do not trail into the front doors make it a plymouth body, like those made in Canada. Pictures????

I picked up a 48 Dodge in Mo, today that doesn't have a title. Looked at google for an ID, no luck. serial number 9750800. Don't know if it is a D24 or 25.

Thanks

S/N 9750800 is a Canadian-built Dodge D-25. 1948 serial numbers were -

9743543 to 9752791, then -

9850446 to 9858536

Both ranges include DeLuxe and Special DeLuxe models.

Under the hood, on the firewall, you should find a tag with :

Model No.

Body No.

Trim Code

Paint Code

The "Model No." will start with "D25". Unless your car is black, paint code 4001, the colour may not be the same as in the U.S. Chrysler Canada used a number of unique colours into the 1950's and before the was actually used some U.S. GM colours.

A Canadian Dodge all the way down here in Missouri....? How about that?

Yep, the deal is they look like a Plymouth, but say Dodge on them and have the

25 inch engine. Like, for example, the one owned by Robert K B.

Picture of my Dodge D25 coupe as mentioned by Bob T. Unlike the American Dodge, the front fender line does not continue into the door. It is a Plymouth in Dodge clothing. Under the hood you should find the long block engine as well as all Canadian Chrysler products used the longer 25" block. In the US the Plymouth and Dodge engines were 23" long and only the Chrysler and Desoto had the longer engine.
