Don Coatney Posted February 22, 2009 Report Posted February 22, 2009 Greg G just sent me these pictures taken last summer in Detroit. Greg and I toured the WP Chrysler museum while the POC went on a bus tour elswhere. Follow this link for more pictures. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v65/DonCoatney/Museum%20cars/Crashler%20museum/?start=all Quote
Rodney Bullock Posted February 22, 2009 Report Posted February 22, 2009 Don, those are some great pic's. I must make plans to go to the WP museum. You and Greg are very lucky to have toured that place. All those models, they are so diverse. It's a shame that company is going though such a hard time. The designs that company created over the years is amazing. The turbine car pictured was a car I was most interested in as I did a report on it while in school. I was told that most of the models were crushed. I see why you too are so smart when it comes to the technology of these cars, thanks for sharing:) Quote
Young Ed Posted February 22, 2009 Report Posted February 22, 2009 Rodney I've seen footage of them being destroyed. Do yourself a favor and don't watch it. And as cool as the WPC museum was to see make sure you go to the Ford museum. Quote
RobertKB Posted February 22, 2009 Report Posted February 22, 2009 Thanks for posting some very cool pictures. WPC Museum would be a must see if I was ever in that part of the USA. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted February 22, 2009 Report Posted February 22, 2009 Don..too bad your pants pockets were to small..I see that look in your eye as you try to palm that tank engine into your shorts... Quote
