Couldn't find a specific place to do introductions, so I figured I may as well do it here.

My name is Scott Howard, I live over the hill from the California Bay Area, and I just got a '40 Dodge Business Coupe project car. I know this place is really for '46-'48 Mopars, but I was directed here by others who said there was much information to be garnished from here.

I've previously played with a '50 Dodge Coronet and '52 Plymouth Business Coupe, and currently own a '70 Challenger, '57 Chevy truck, and a Model A roadster. I still call myself a Mopar guy, though!

Just thought I'd do an intro before you guys thought I was some dude from Nigeria trying to give you an inheritance from a guy you never heard of.

Nice to meet you all!:D

Welcome. Thanks for the intro. Suggest you put location and car owned into your profile. As much as we'd like to we can't all remember what kind of car everyone has.

Scott, please take a moment to visit the Golden State Region POC website. GTK has a link to it in the links section of this site. We have members in your area.

All the best on the project!!

He's been in the water since 2007, he's just now surfacing....lol.I read your profile, better late than never.

Yeah, back then I was trying to sell a NOS pair of '49 business rear fenders.... still have tucked up the attic.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, I'll probably be pretty quiet, but you'll see me everyone in a while! :D

Hey Man,

Always good to know a new member is close by. I'm out in Clements, north east of Stockton. I'm mostly a on the truck side, but we're all in it together. We have a get together at my ranch on April 25th, its put on by the Pilothouse guys, but everybodys invited. Watch for the new posts. I race a 1972 Charger Street Stock....once in a blue moon at Altamont, but mostly at Stockton 99 Speedway. Can't wait for the reopening of the track this o9' season. :D

Welcome. There are several '40 Dodge owners on this board and a wealth of knowledge and experience with flathead MOPARS. Check out my profile for a photo of my '40 4 dr.

Welcome Rabid Scott. Don't worry about it being a '40, if you've got a flathead your in the right place.
