RabidScott Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 Couldn't find a specific place to do introductions, so I figured I may as well do it here. My name is Scott Howard, I live over the hill from the California Bay Area, and I just got a '40 Dodge Business Coupe project car. I know this place is really for '46-'48 Mopars, but I was directed here by others who said there was much information to be garnished from here. I've previously played with a '50 Dodge Coronet and '52 Plymouth Business Coupe, and currently own a '70 Challenger, '57 Chevy truck, and a Model A roadster. I still call myself a Mopar guy, though! Just thought I'd do an intro before you guys thought I was some dude from Nigeria trying to give you an inheritance from a guy you never heard of. Nice to meet you all! Quote
Young Ed Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 Welcome. Thanks for the intro. Suggest you put location and car owned into your profile. As much as we'd like to we can't all remember what kind of car everyone has. Quote

I'm mostly a on the truck side, but we're all in it together. We have a get together at my ranch on April 25th, its put on by the Pilothouse guys, but everybodys invited. Watch for the new posts. I race a 1972 Charger Street Stock....once in a blue moon at Altamont, but mostly at Stockton 99 Speedway. Can't wait for the reopening of the track this o9' season. 48D Quote
40phil41 Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 Welcome. There are several '40 Dodge owners on this board and a wealth of knowledge and experience with flathead MOPARS. Check out my profile for a photo of my '40 4 dr. Phil Quote
steveplym Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 Welcome Rabid Scott. Don't worry about it being a '40, if you've got a flathead your in the right place. Quote
