Pat after selling a few pieces of furniture last week I totally understand his frustration.

I am on Freecycle and it amases me how unashamed some people are in the things they ask for. There is one person on the Chillicothe area list that once a month or so asks if any one will deliver a working washer and dryer, install, all for free. I've seen people asking for cars and all sorts of other things. It's really supposed to be a way for people that have good usable stuff that instead of throwing it away are willing to give it away. The next gripe I have about Freecycle are the people that promise to pick something up and they never show. It took me almost two weeks before I finally got rid of some old paint left at my house by the PO. Lots of people asked if they could have it, but they would never show.

I have boxes from our move that some one said they desperately wanted. I was even going to be in their town, and I offered to deliver them to any location, but it was too much trouble to e-mail me back with a location. It blew my mind that someone could live somewhere for over a year and have no clue how to get to the next town. Stupid people amase me, and the worst thing is these morons and freeloaders are allowed to VOTE!

A few weeks ago I saw a post on the local Craigs List by someone looking for a good reliable car for his daughters first car.

The guy was upset because all the cars he had looked at were not safe reliable cars. He then said he was really upset at the last one. Guess he had made a 200 mile round trip to look at a car someone was selling. Said the car did not meet his expectations and the asking price was $500.

My question is. What did this guy expect to buy for $500? In today's market $500 for a used car will only get you junk. Not a reliable car for your daughter to drive around in. This guy must be living in "Never Never Land" if he expects to find a decent car for only $500.

I like him!!:D I don't know how many times I wanted to answer some of the emails I get when selling like that, either on craigslist or ebay!! it is amazing how stupid some people are, and the worst thing is they are going to build something or fix something they know nothing about and should never be allowed to do! The 49 chevy p/u I am working on has some of the worst and most dangerous things done to it I have ever seen. The guy welded the disc brake backing/mounting plates on to the spindles, when he could have used the 4 old backing plate mounts and used 3/4" spacers and bolts to hold them on. they cut the firewall straight up 8" on either side of the trans tunnel and pushed it back 1" and put 2- 1/4 x 2" straps to hold it then slobbered silicone all over it instead of just trimming the bottom 1/2"! scarry part is he drove it like that for years as his daily driver. I could go with the stuff I found and am having to fix but you get the point.
