Rodney Bullock Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 Hey everyone, I have been laid up, While I was sick some of the kids broke my computer. i bought one the other day and had to wait for AOL to send me a disk to get back on line. (kids fried my mother board) I had a small operation after visiting Joe Flanagan. One day last month I had someone bring their lap top over so I could read some of the threads. I should be up and around good about Tuesday. I have not been down to see my Plymouth so I am very ready to play with it again. I did get someone to put my last few belt line mouldings on the hawk. I hope everything is going well with everyone, I can't speak so typing is best I can do:) I miss my cars, keep up the posting I am reading them and enjoying them:D PS Normscoupe, why do they tease you so much about driving 1200 miles. Greg, Don I have that Westminster show on my list:p Quote

Greg, Don I have that Westminster show on my list:p Rodney, I really don't know why they tease me about not driving my coupe as much as they do. Guess they need to get a life. Glad to hear you are still vertical. I always say, it's a good day any day we remain vertical. Quote
greg g Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 Hey Rodney glad you're OK. The show being discussed is the one 30 or 40 miles away from our friend Norm, not the one in Maryland. No one is expecting miracles here. Quote
Tony Cipponeri Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 Rodney, Fill us in on what happened to you, I hope everything is going better for you. You are in our prayers. Tony C Quote
RobertKB Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 Rodney, sorry to hear you have not been well but glad to hear you are on the mend. Seeing and driving your old cars will certainly boost your spirits! Quote
Joe Flanagan Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 Rodney, I was wondering what happened to you. I hope it wasn't anything that happened while you were here at my house. The forum isn't the same without you chiming in. How are you dealing with this cold? I bet you're holed up in your ultra secret super bachelor's den in your basement. You should see Rodney's hideaway, fellas. It's like a kid's clubhouse. Quote
Frank Elder Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 I wish you well Rodney, by the way my 14 year old grandaughter loves seeing your cars! Quote
Don Coatney Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 Rodney; Hope you are healing well. It has been quite here without you. Quote
55 Fargo Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 Rodney, speedy recovery, the cars will fine till you can get back to them, but I can relate to your kinda thinking. All the best.........Fred Quote
Rodney Bullock Posted January 17, 2009 Author Report Posted January 17, 2009 I am very glad to be back on the forum. I have been thinking cars As some of you know I had some chrome work at a company in Baltimore and they were just holding my stuff they would not give me my money or parts. I have waited two years:( While I was at Joe's place(no Joe nothing happened while with you) I did start thinking, this guy is really making me mad. I paid him a visit that next week. Well with out going into details or anything. I got my parts back and had them rechromed:cool: I can only keep my cool for a limited amount of time. I think I hurt my hip and back:rolleyes: and my wisdom tooth had to be removed. Hey, I wanted to start the new year off right, I have no parts outstanding and I got rid of that dumb tooth, it was cutting my tongue anyway. I think by next week I will be going up to look at a 1941 President 8cly. I have been thinking of the next project and I just want to look at this thing. To all my dear friends in this hobby life is short, enjoy all things as long as you can because things can change at the blink;) of an eye. Plus two aganst one to me is fair odds:) Quote
Niel Hoback Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 Rodney, I missed you. It was too quiet. Its good to hear from you. Quote
PatS.... Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 Rodney, they often say that isn't the way to handle things, but there comes a point where it's the ONLY way. I can only hope there is another person also recovering only longer. I used to OK with up to 3 to one if I was mad enough. To old for that now ;( , besides nowadays some of these cowards have to have firearms 'cause they have no cajone's. Get well soon! Quote
eric wissing Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 Rodney, throw on some Funkadelic "maggot brain" and let the healing power surge through ya! Eric Quote
