Tim Frank Posted December 17, 2008 Report Posted December 17, 2008 Black Label is a Canadian brand and is still available in beer stores here and is a big export brand into Europe...one of the better sellers in pubs in the UK. With the big shakeups in the brewing biz lately....consolidations etc. it certainly is not as high [profile as it once was. An old, old, memory from my childhood is the ads from baseball games on the radio. I had an old tube radio that would pull in skipped AM signals at night from the Eastern Seaboard ....I was a big Orioles fan in the early 60s, "Sit back and relax with a Philly Cigar" "Sharp, keen, smooth" "A little dab'll do ya" and of course " see the USA in your...errrrr....OK, never mind....:)" Quote
1940plymouth Posted December 17, 2008 Report Posted December 17, 2008 Speaking of the Philly cigars How about Dizzy Dean and Pee Wee Reese doing the Saturday game of the week? I was wondering about Black Label, not available here anymore, but I always thought it was a good beer Quote
