  1. Sounds like just another Holiday at the Adams house to me, Tim! HIGH regard! Mark
  2. LOL!!! I knew that would draw you out, Don! HIGH regards! Mark
  3. Been there, done that, gave up keeping score a LONG time ago. Note my join date. Is old Don Coatney and Tim Adams still hanging around here? I haven't talked to them in a LONG time. Regards! Mark
  4. Well, apparently Wal-Mart and Target reversed fields after last year and them embracing the 'Happy Holiday' theme. They are using Christmas heavily through all their advertisements on TV and paper, and are telling their folks to wish people a Merry Christmas. Glad to hear it too! MERRY CHRISTMAS! Regard! Mark
  5. When I was growing up, we had a couple spinster sisters who lived next door to us that never called cars 'cars', they called the 'machines'. Oh, and I didn't 'just join the forum'. I just haven't been around for a while. Not sure why that always happens when ever I log in after a long absence. Regards! Mark
  6. Much appreciated, gentlemen! The one's I found so far have been $60 a pop, so I am definitely looking under the wrong rocks! Regards! Mark
  7. Never mind. I believe this thread answered about the same questions. http://www430.pair.com/p15d24/mopar_forum/showthread.php?t=4820 Thanks. Regards! Mark
  8. Another good location to obtain the filters is a Tractor Supply Store, if you have one close by. That's where I buy mine, and they drop into the can like they were made for them. Regards! Mark
  9. Hello! Long time no post. Sorry about the absence. Can anyone give me a source of front drum brake cylinders for my 1950 P20? The one's I've seen have been EXPENSIVE!!!! I was hoping not to have to invest the total cost in the car just to find a set of these puppies. Any sources you can offer? Regards! Mark
  10. It's on the otherside of the railroad overpass heading away from Nashville. GREAT seafood, if you've never stopped there. Very good. I know right where to go look. Thanks, Don! Regards! Mark
  11. Thanks Don. I had a copy of that card, but can't find it, so that's what I needed. As I recall, the front brake shoes are 10" x 2", and the back a bit larger, so I guess I'll have to pull the front and have a nice afternoon trip to Nashville sometime in the near future. Don, are they anywhere near the Florida Seafood House on Nolensville Road? I could kill two birds with one stone. (rins) Regards! Mark
  12. What do I ask for when I send a set of front/rear brake shoes in for rebuild for my 1950 P20? I have a set of each that need redone, but want to know what I should tell them to do. Regards! Mark
  13. Wow! That chop job makes your car look JUST like my son-in-laws 48 Chevy Fleetliner that's slowly sinking into the yard behind my garage. Regards! Mark
  14. Was 70 here yesterday, and I noticed grass is growing already, dang it. I guess winter is over in South Central Tennessee. We'll have our 1 week of Spring, the 90! Regard! Mark
  15. Lazy....Dad passed away last month, so I've been tied up with related family matters....the old Locomotive wouldn't start after Thanksgiving from a locked up starter...take your pick. I have no definite excuse. Oh, oh a lark, I decided to see if the car would try and turn over a couple weeks ago after cleaning off a good covering of black bird droppings (don't you hate those things this time of year Don! ), and lo and behold, the old bugger cranked right up!! All I can figure is the starting gear locked up last November, and as we went through the warm and cold spells, it slowly back out of the flywheel on it's own. It's been starting perfectly ever since. Getting to drive it every day again made me take a peek in here....and I find you out riding a horse. Times do change. I also see I'm now a 'junior member, just joined'. See, you CAN turn back the clock!!! (grins) HIGH regards! Mark
