  1. That is a pretty nice kit Greg and has a fuse panel too. Nice lower cost option than the original wire harnesses. I didn't know they made any aftermarket 6 volt kits.
  2. If you pull off the trim Don that is where the fender is pieced together. I just filled mine in with body filler. One side was filled in already so went ahead and filled them both in. I can't remember if the fender is bolted together there or welded. I'm thinking welded, but not sure.
  3. Roberts sells them if you can't find them locally. $4 each. http://www.robertsmotorparts.com/car_parts.asp?Action=search&search=lug
  4. Glad it worked out for you. I usually suspect the worst, and with my luck my worries are usually true. It's nice to have a simple fix when you have issues.
  5. Here's one webpage to check out. http://www.plymouthdoctor.com/
  6. I could see that being an issue. It already is an issue with my car as I could see not having much room to work behind the dash with the stock radio in there. That is why I haven't put a radio in there yet, but probably will not. Thanks for your input guys, it's nice to know of the issues with this before I end up finding them out for myself.
  7. Looks like a good time Norm. Seems there were a lot of original cars there, neat ones too. I thought I saw some pictures of a few skirts around there. So the scenery was great all around.
  8. So looks like Normspeed won't be able to finance his retirement with this?
  9. Bob if that car was mine I'd get all the mechanical stuff fixed and drive the wheels off that car. Just enjoy it like it is. You can always worry about paint and interior later.
  10. I've never seen one of those Norm. Does it go on the dash or where?
  11. I wonder what he expects the $1500 for? There is not much left.
  12. This is interesting. If I had a clean classic that didn't need any work why would I want this thing? http://stlouis.craigslist.org/bar/1090799224.html
  13. This may have been mentioned to you before Donald, but check out this thread and note Normspeeds posts. It may answer your questions, but you could be talking about something different. If this doesn't help or you've already tried it please ignore my post. http://www430.pair.com/p15d24/mopar_forum/showthread.php?t=4248
  14. It shouldn't leak anymore with that stuff Aero. Looks like it sealed it up good.
  15. I'd pay off my debt and live happier. I think I could find better ways to spend the money than the government. Plus, it would help the economy. Credit would be freed up and people would start buying cars again.
  16. Wow, you've done a lot of work there Glendale. Looking really good. Keep us updated.
  17. Thanks for the info HKestes41. I had seen those motors on ebay, but forgot the name of the company. I may have to wait a while until I can purchase that. It would be nice to get rid of the vacuum hose and canister and just deal with the wiring. Maybe I'll just try to avoid the rain this summer and hope Santa brings me a new wiper motor for Xmas.
  18. I understand what you are saying Tim and I actually agree with it. The only problem is that when you put on a show some people would just unload their car 10 miles away at a lot somewhere in town and drive the car in. That is if you split up the classes. I hate to say that, but I've seen it first hand. There are a lot of people who have super nice cars and do drive them to all shows. Most shows have a daily driver class, and if you drive your car daily you can enter that class. Be aware though I've seen some cars in the daily driver class that I questioned if they really were driven daily.
  19. One more I found.
  20. Here's another one, but note that the tops are chopped.
  21. This car has a one piece windshield. It looks pretty good.
  22. Welcome to the forum. I haven't seen the one piece windshields, but it would make an improvement. Only question I would have is if you would need to replace the rear view mirror as the center divider bar would not be needed anymore.
  23. Look above the mountain and to the left. Right next to the white smiley face drop down.
  24. Frank I like a car that is like new just as much as any older vehicle. I was just saying what I like for myself. I always enjoy looking at an all out restoration with every nut and bolt neatly detailed. I also know when judging a car the differences between the two. I do have friends that can't even look at a car without finding all of its flaws. I can find the cars flaws, but I'm not looking for that, just enjoying the car and the people who own it. I agree with you though that we should enjoy all the cars.
  25. Hey Jim, a URL is a webpage address. If you have a photo already somewhere on the net, such as photobucket or elsewhere you can enter that URL and it will show the photo on the forum. If you have the file on your computer, when you go to post reply click the paper clip above the text box. Then you can browse your computer, find the photo in your files, and then attach it.
