  1. Thought so, Thanks!
  2. Could you just remove the coil set up and install the spring perches instead, if it sounds too simple, it probably is...
  3. You can skip pertronix and fit a 225 electronic dizzy to your flathead if you aren't worried about looking stock.
  4. Do any of the cherokees have rear discs?
  5. I read the whole post kiddo, kick, kick! The jibe was aimed at the 100% poc original mentality that you plymouth guys are always crabbin' about:D "I have the right mirror stashed away". You know how the press is always trying to discredit the president!
  6. Dyna Mat is laying off......inventory must not be moving at ridiculously high prices.
  7. What other site, always good to know more info.....
  8. Welcome aboard! I have been thinking about the shock relocation kit myself, from Charlie...the MC is a tricky one due to limited space, members have used the original pot with residual vavles and his disc kit. 10 lbs to the front and 2 lbs to the rear. Some without residuals, personal choice. Lotsa opinions and even more good advice{tech} P or D? you can post your type of car next to your location, it will help us answer your Questions.
  9. Gawd, I miss junkyards with real steel instead of this tiptoe action. Granted there are items that would never been found, but I think the physical hunt is the most exciting of all.....Whatta ya want fer it? Dunno, whatta think it's worth? Frankie the "Haggler" Elder. and the search is on!
  10. The future POC prez just let a skeleton out of the closet! That's gonna cost you some votes Ed.
  11. Label everything! Pictures of everything! Baggies with parts actually inside them with labels stating what it goes to and how many, etc. Write down how you removed things so you have a reverse order to follow upon installation. Do not use your workbench for parts storage....don't ask how I know. Lost or damaged parts due to my own stupidness have cost me plenty of time and money, sigh..
  12. It's dark out and I'm cold, but the bumper guard centers are 33 1/2 inches across. That is notch to notch at the very top of the guards. All I have to do is use Bob's pictures for a reference, I'm sure the tube OD is identical, and starting with the middle bow and bending until the tubing is over the notches then down. I'll be sure to take pictures of all the rejects!
  13. I'm sure its different by just a tad, heaven forbid that anything would interchange between p-15 and d-24.
  14. Thanks Bob, lotsa good info, only 3 bends looks feasible. PS. I wonder why 2 holes on each side when you only use 1 bolt on each side? Higher mount in case in interference with fog lites....?
  15. So measure the bolt holes on the p-15 bench, and the floor board holes on the car....simple.Do the same for the backseat measure the p-15 rear seat attachment points top and bottam, then on the car itself. If they are ballpark you should have something to start with.
  16. Pro Antique Auto Parts has the correct wires available and hard to find correct eyelets also. 50 King Spring Road Windsor Locks, CT. 06096 1-860-623-8274 9 to 5 M-F
  17. Kool pic! Now all you need is a d-24.....
  18. Tanks Bob!
  19. You can blame the school systems and the government till you are blue in the face, a determined person will succede, a lazy one will not....regardless of programs or grants offered. The world needs ditch diggers too, harsh but true you have to want it, nobody owes you anything much. 2 cents.
  20. I don't think I'll try these anytime soon.
  21. Could you please post the picture of the front grille guard again, and if it is hanging in your garage I would appreciate the diameter of the tubing and the height of the risers. I have deduced that the thing won't be hard to make out of mild steel tubing...
  22. Thanks Fireball, wouldn't it be kool if something on our cars just slid right in the first time!
  23. I'm not knockin' you either, your method works for you. So you shoot your rusty metal primer from a spray can Fred? Or from a gun...big difference between aerosol and regulated air pressure, that is one of the factors in proper adhesion. Constant steady flow is better than spray shake spray shake and so on. Nothing out of a spray can can match a true automotive paint in a paint gun. Not to mention you don't have hardener in a rattlecan. Just my 2 cents.
