  1. Those are adel clamps, or hydraulic line clamps. Used in aviation originally, now available to the public. Many, many different sizes and applications. Should be able to get them at hardware or auto stores, we have them at work at the Semi and trailer shop.
  2. Hey, Todd!!! Try this part number for the remote valve. 1113 080 it has an icon next to it that means part previously not listed. I assume that means in the original manuals this was not listed and there are quite a few of them throughout the manual.
  3. I'll try it, don't wait up for it, Esmey does the downloads around here and she's not home tonite.
  4. You want me to copy the pages and send them to you? I don't know how to scan.
  5. How about, 670 647 VALVE, Heater Water Shut Off Same no. for both the 36 and 46 deluxe heater applications There is no number for the remote valve:confused:
  6. Thanks, my car actually came with an xtra ashtray in the trunk..I can use the face plate on that if the radio delete won't fit. I really don't want to ruin it though.
  7. For Dodge I have, 1-48-854 VALVE, Heater Water, Assembly {remote type} VALVE, Heater Water Shut Off 46-48
  8. We have 8 in. on the ground as of Friday.
  9. Merle, would you suggest using a brass punch instead, as it will mushroom before the pin? Or will it move it at all?
  10. Don't anchor to the frame, just to the floorpan. For your safety.
  11. I stole the picture from the car's wanted section. Posted by the CarolinaRodShop, maybe they'll chime in but I doubt it. George, I collect vintage cash registers and slot machines, it gets me in trouble with the keeper of the budget all the time!
  12. Mr. Will, Don't you dare stop educating us, I either write down your replies or subscribe to your threads depending on the time involved. Ditto what Don said!
  13. If it smells of both you are running rich enough to wash down your cylinders sending raw gas into your oilpan and preventing your oil ring from doing its job, don't forget to check the dipstick for fuel contamination.
  14. George thanks fo having my back, but the are strange looking to me, not desirable, maybe on the new 300...was just curious.
  15. Maybe this will warm you up Fred, Sure this isn't yours?
  16. OK, I get it, your Biased:D LOL.

  18. Doe's anyone have info on these tires? I've never seen Low Profile WWW's before.
  19. This is how long it has been since, We have had a modern car, upon purchasing our 07 Cobalt I commented to the sales man that the lighter was missing. He gets a strange look on his face and tells me there is no ash tray and that hole you're lookin' at is a power port for 12 volt doohickies! So I muster up the courage to ask him if it will power up a lighter and he says no. Strike 2.....Not 5 minutes later I strike again! Sir, So that must be an auxillary headphone jack on the radio? No Mr. Elder, it is not. That is so you can play your I pod through the stereo system. SSSTEEERIKE THREE! By this time Esmey had had enough of my foolishness and I got the look, she thinks I am a caveman because if something we bought a long time ago still works then I don't replace it just because there is an upgrade available. Heck, I still use a rotary phone in the kitchen from GTE. You know you're not with it if your phone just sends and receives calls.... Thats my ash tray story, with options:D
  20. Have wondered that myself, Don ain't tellin'!
  21. Slight change of topic, Rented a ford tarus in 1990, unlimited miles, they asked where I was going. Jackson, MS to Beeville, TX and back. Ok was the answer, We were on our way to Meridian, on the MS-AL border. East to go west, then back through Jackson and on to Beeville, about 800 miles give or take. Then due to a change of plans the car abruptly headed north to Lake City, IA. Back down to Beeville and on to Meridian to drop off relatives and "THE DOG!". Followed by the requisite drop off in Jackson! They weren't concerned at all about the excessive mileage at all, but the fact that we had a dog in the car, said they could smell it! The guy that checked out the car musta had one hell of a sniffer...
  22. Sooo, that makes the original box worth $200:D
  23. I smoke menthol Pall malls like a chimney, but I don't want the temptation once the car is finished. I'd rather enjoy the new interior than tar it up and burn holes in the seats....
  24. You could even hide your radio power port by routing it to the cigar lighter in the dash, replacing the lighter housing with it instead. Then when not in use, put the lighter in to disguise it.
