    Today, here in the scrap melting heart of America, the sign said $220/ton for junk cars.

    Between 35 and 50 degrees in humid weather, the entire throttle casting will get a coat of ice a good 1/8" thick. The heat flap works well and there are no performance problems because of it, but it is something to see covered in solid ice.

    The stainless trim is even with the bottom edge of the front fender and even with the bottom of the welded seam of the inner and outer rocker panels. OR you could put the bottom edge even with the bottom of the front fender and then keep the top edge an even distance from the bottom of the door opening. I can send pictures tomorrow if you want them.

    Jim6364, yes, thats how they work. They're called parking lights, so you don't need them when you're driving. No kidding. Your switch is working correctly.

    Odd, but at the top of that digram it says, "NOTE ...... Diagram includes all assecories installed as special equipment". It does include wiring for turn signals, as rare as they are, yet no radio, clock, or even a heater !

    I doubt the factory ever did that, and its pretty obvious why. Looks like a cheap junkyard repair.

    You can center your wheel by adjusting the tie rod ends equally, one in, one out.

    Sounds like the clutch is not fully disengaging. Lengthen the pushrod a few turns and try it again.

    There are NO synchronizers for first or reverse. You CANNOT shift to first or reverse while the car is moving. The gears will clash and leave small pieces of metal in the sump. Synchronizers are only on second and third gears. You can shift to second or third gear while the car is moving, BUT NOT TO FIRST OR REVERSE.

    Unless you have a replacement drum lined up, it's not a good idea to hammer on the drum. it is made of soft cast iron and willdeform easily.

    I have two of those pullers. One broke while trying to pull a hub. The other one is now a door stop. Get a good puller.

    Laquer thinner. Faster than anything including carb cleaner.
