  1. It may have had a remote oil filter on it at one time.
  2. Marvel Mystery Oil worked on mine. Fresh 10-30 and a qt. of MMO took a couple hundred miles, but it stopped the smoke from both ends so I assume the rings were stuck with carbon and old oil residue.
  3. To emphasize a previous post, do not purchase or use a three-wheeled stand. It's not worth the chance of dumping the motor on the ground if you're lucky, and on your feet if you're not. They are also difficult to move around because of their tendency to tip sideways.
  4. I like the home made license plate on that one!
  5. Apparently a rebuilder saved up a bunch and got rid of them all at once in my head. That explains the rattle I hear when I shake my head. I do have unlimited grounding capabilities.
  6. Fuzzy pictures are better than no pictures. Yes, your car is 6 volt positive ground.
  7. J I Case, Racine Wisconsin.
  8. I have about 10-12 head bolts that look like that on mine. They are tapped for the ground cable.
  9. Sway bar brackets are not strong enough for me to use. I put mine under the frame behind the wheels where the angles of the frame meet. If you don't like to use the u-shape on the frame, put a piece of oak on top of it.
  10. Well, I learn something every day.
  11. That is a fluid drive housing there. A non-fluid drive clutch cover is only half that size.
  12. Being treated well by an insurance company earns them free advertising. What insurance company was it ?

  14. Is that the Dodge Charger that went down on the Andrea Doria?
  15. Throw a deer on the fender and that might be the same car!
  16. No. No way. Not even close.
  17. I believe the original ones I took out of mine were 7/16" diameter oval head carriage bolts. A 1/2" diameter bolt would not go through the holes.
  18. In Indiana, you get $143 if you had been working previously in the year.
  19. Its good to see a fresh picture of Cooper. Best fender ornament ever.
  20. That is the pin. By "two pins", Greg means there is one pin on each kingpin,
  21. It says there are fuses inside, so it may just be a fuse box, not a relay.
  22. Magazine's website; http://classic-american.com
  23. It's been since 1994, I think I can wait a bit. Thanks.
