  1. I don't think you would have any trouble selling those. Is there room for a clutch pedal also?
  2. Bob, it looks like you needsome new shackle bushings there.
  3. I think Rodney might be the "biggest" Plymouth fan. Certainly the funnest.
  4. Its gotta have a "P" on the head!
  5. If the fan was hitting anything there would be marks. Check the radiator for marks first. I seriously doubt a stock four blade fan would flex in any direction.
  6. Did you retorque the head bolts after it was hot? Like Greg said, you may have a muffler full of water. If its running smooth at idle, it can't be passing much water through the cylinders. Warm it up and torque the head bolts one more time. Go to 70 ft lbs.
  7. Rodney, I wish you a very Happy Birthday tomorrow. Eat a lot of carbs for me, will you? and don't forget the ice cream. Pictures of your restoration would be great.
  8. Plan A: M-80's with long fuses fed out through the spark plug holes and fired 1-5-3-6-2-4. Probably wouldn't do anything, but fun to watch. Plan B: A 2"x10" bar about 1/2" thick bolted across the top of the cylinder with a 3/4" tapped hole over the piston. A bolt tightened done onto a small 1/4" piece of plate laying on the piston should do something. Plan C involves 1/4 sticks of dynamite.
  9. I guess if you think about it, you're lucky you had shoes on or you would still be on the running board. Really, that Shoe Goo is some surprisingly sticky stuff.
  10. Shoe Goo, then put some weight on it until it dries.
  11. Bolt number eleven is in the center, underneath where you can't see it. Yes your NOS will fit.
  12. Somehow I expected the book to be all blank pages.
  13. Thats the last time I'm letting the valet park my car! He could have at least put it on top.
  14. A couple of weeks ago I stopped at Safford Fiat in Fredericksburg, Virginia to see what was up. It looked like some kid had spred out his Matchbox cars on the lawn! They were lined up in all the brightest colors. Some with a sunroof. Some with fancy wheels. Stickers showed around $18,000 to $21,000. A little too rich for my idea of a toy. Maybe its just me, but old reputations die hard. For that kind of money, I want a real car.
  15. There is a reason that people say FIAT stands for "Fix It Again, Tony". They developed a reputation about like a Yugo.
  16. Or we could try religion,,,,,,,,,,,,,
  17. Nice pictures! Thanks for taking me to the show.
  18. Now that you have a replacement and extras, its only a matter of time until you find the original. Probably by stepping on it. Did you look in your pants cuffs?
  19. My p-15 has a mesh filter in the top of the outlet breather pipe. See if yours does and that its not plugged with dried up oil crud.
  20. I understand the S is for De Luxe and C is for Special De Luxe. Backwards from what you would think.
  21. I don't know where the topper came from, I couldn't catch the owner. I met him a year ago and the year before that, each time trying to get him to trade up to a 48. He won't bite.
  22. For license topper fans, blow up this thing on the front of the '38. Then try to make yourself one.
  23. An actual barn find. This '40 Dodge has 43,xxx miles on it The owner has had it about three years and has decided to leave it alone.
  24. Two 49's and a 38 here.
  25. Hmmmmm,, 6 volt trailer brakes,,,,,,
