  4. you might have to sand the frame to find it. It could be anywhere from the beginning of the hump to where the photo shows.
  5. There's a photo here somewhere that shows the location. Will need to do a search.
  6. the 47's were on the rear wheel arch of the frame. Outside flat.
  7. They say that it's the same process as used in the 60's and 70's by the auto manufacturers.

  9. I just made the metal parts. Tubing the correct diameter and cut to length and a washer the correct diameter with a hole drilled to correct size.

  11. This rubber was $218 for my 47 Dodge coupe. I made the metal supports out of washers and tube.
  12. Went to a garage sale last weekend. Picked up a 1938 Coleman 242B lantern for a 5 dollar bill. Took it home and it lit right up. How many things were made well enough to still work so well after 80 years?

  14. Nick I hydro dipped mine. First photo is original and second is the hydro dipped. They make 100's of wood grain patterns. You could find a close match to your's I'm sure.

  17. I converted mine to electric by buying an electric set off of a 48 Chrysler. Bolted right in.
  18. this one didn't make a sound all evening but the one on the next lake over was rather vocal. The swan was surprisingly vocal as well.

  23. You won't be able to run continuously with that compressor. It's not near large enough. It will work but you will have to blast awhile and then stop to let the compressor catch up or run it at low PSI.
