  1. I miss the red leaves in the fall. I do not wish to experience smog. When it's sunny here it's always that blue.
  2. very nice paint. Both color and the job.
  3. The largest in the 15 years since I moved here was 7.2. we lost 2 jars of homemade jam.
  4. we have over 1000 a month. Most are tiny. https://earthquake.alaska.edu/earthquakes
  5. at 921am this morning we had a 5.7 earthquake. Very few even noticed. Life in Alaska. lol
  6. Good luck.
  7. if you pull the water pump check the water distribution tube. It's behind the water pump.
  8. It's a left hand drive so I doubt Scottish/Irish. I've lived in Scotland for years and never heard the police called :Polis.
  9. go for it. Just get a car that has been recently gone over. Rebuilt engine would be a big +. On your list I don't see a reason for electronic ignition or 12 volt conversion. Just me. The rest I have done to my coupe except for the shoulder belts and all my driving is on country roads.
  10. I doubt that Dan. Many more were vets then.
  11. everyone wants a convertible anyway.
  12. just doing my part
  13. talk about "more doors".
  14. Happy Birthday Marines! The photo below is of me in 1974. Doesn't seem like 44 years ago. I bought a T shirt last week that says "Only 2.3% of the American population has served in the armed forces. Less than 1% has served in the United States Marine Corps. The Few, the Proud the Marines."
  15. Original rims 16". front disc is scarebird.
  16. I run disc on all 4. No clearance issues with the coker www radials that I bought.
  17. I have run Coker radials www on my coupe for a year now. I'm really happy with the way the car steers and tracks. No problems yet.
  18. I just copied one of the originals that was still mostly complete. I do believe that there was 3 per side. It's been 3 years or so. It took me awhile to realize how they went together as well. I finally found a drawing in the parts manual that did a good enough job of showing it.
  19. Rusty Hope, Scarebird and AAJ are the 3 that I know. I used the last two on my 47 Dodge. Very happy with both and no problems with either.
  20. Here's a video of the final wrapped bumper. The guy that I had do it said the wrinkles are because the cheap wrap that I bought would not stretch. Look at the chrome bumper guards and the bumper and you see the contrast.
  21. tite seal window flashing. I used it in my coupe a few years ago. Works well.
  22. I had to wrap my rear bumper as I haven't found a good chromed one yet. It's in my rebuild thread. Lessons learned: you need more than one person. Secure the object being wrapped really well, don't go cheap on the vinyl wrap. I went cheap as I hoped that I would find a decent bumper quickly. It's still holding up well after a year. It looks close enough to chrome that no one has commented about it after being in 4 car shows this summer.
  23. Have been sandblasting sheet metal so there hasn't been much to video.
  24. Great job. I would have used the same color though.
  25. I also use gas. It's much easier for us beginner welders.
