  1. Jack, I'm sure he would not mind. It's a tail gate party. We're bringing our 03 PT Cruiser. LOL From the move and health issues, I am too burned out to bring something old. We were going to bring about 10 vehicles. So, we will see you there.
  2. The book I have is an advertisement page for the OD in the UK shipped from the US for the 30s Ply and Dodge. We have a few customers in the UK and they never saw one.
  3. That is cool. I have documentation that ODs were installed in the Dodge and Plymouth line in the UK. I have a book having that info. I will find the book and post at a later date. It is packed away at this time when we moved our shop. I posted the pictures of the Chrysler because I will take good detail pictures when I strip the car. Thanks for your input and I will keep you in the loop. Thanks Dave
  4. I have customers tell me that OD was also available in the 35 to 40 in the Dodge and Plymouth line. We have an extensive library and no info and no parts listed for the OD except exports. Thoughts!!
  5. Great post!!!!!!! We have a 38 Chrysler Custom. It has the straight 8 with over and it has never been apart from what I see from upstairs. I will take detailed pictures whenI take this apart. This car is being parted out. Block is missing the head and frozen. Also, have a 40 Chrysler with a 8 and OD.
  6. I am interested in the car. Thanks Dave

  7. OD bring good money.
  8. How much is the car?
  9. 39 was the 1st year for semi electric OD.
  10. 37 OD because 36 had the E-brake on the rear axle. The top post picture has an E-brake on the trans.
  11. I have never seen OD in a USA Dodge or Ply until the 40s. I have a book having it in the UK. We have customers there and they said that they have not seen OD in the Dodge or Ply but seen them in the Chry and Desoto. I have tons of parts books and trans books in the 30s and nothing in parts for OD. What is your thoughts? Here is a 37 OD from a 37 Chry that we installed in a 34 Dodge pickup.
  12. Bump Any updates?
  13. The car is a basket case. They started the resto and stopped. New engine and all new suspension parts. Even has the no FD 3 speed.
  14. Where in the tarnation is this BBQ??
  15. I know a good-better tax accountant. LOL!!

  18. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_GAA_engine
  19. BIG!! Can't imagine 1100 cube @ 5000 rpm. 1050 ft/lbs of torque! Just something different. Love to see one in person. Used in Army Tanks.
  20. I imagine they but no telling and other OPs can read for knowledge.
  21. Been using a line lock for years and currently use them on our fleet of tow trucks with no issues. E-brake had a higher fail rate than our locks. Just saying with 30 plus years using the locks. For a long period park, use blocks and another thing, I bet 75% of you do not have GPS in these cars if stolen.
  22. Picking up a 41 Chry Coupe in the next couple of weeks. Will be parting it out. No pictures at this time.
