  1. I will explain at a later date how this works. Doing brakes on a 57 Chrysler Imperial Crown. Can anybody tell me how to make the pictures show larger?
  2. This is my 1st attempt on doing a video.
  3. For best performance, Balance and blue print. Also Micro blue all moving parts. Engine will last longer, perform better and run cooler. Use a 6 vain water pump. Watch this video of the truck. 1935 Dodge.
  4. Found this on the internet.
  5. Hi Tim Looking forward to the big one. George with black and yellow truck from Oregon going to try. He had a rough going for the last 6 months. This is all he talks about. Have some new people coming out. Talk at you later.
  6. Can't believe nobody posted from April until now about this great event. Where do we find the pictures that the photographer took? Did I miss it somewhere in the forum?
  7. Sorry it took so long to comment. As last year, it sure was one heck of an event. Didn't get much time to be there. Was prepping to get the real little sign to deliver to the new owner. George from Oregon, with the black and yellow truck, you all made his day talking about his truck. He informed me that he hope to live another 20 years so he could attend future BBQs Thanks again Tim for a job well done. NO DOUGHT!!
  8. When the next one? This guy is coming from Oregon, 75 years young with Parkinson's. 1937 1 1/2 ton Dodge truck with a Diesel.
  9. Good topic. No matter how long you have worked on cars, their is always a new way on learning to diag problems.
  10. I could be wrong, the tag shows the ball park weight plus the 1/2 ton (1000 lbs)on the tag being the truck is a 1/2 ton. 3400 + 1000 =4400 gvw. 200 lbs difference. Next time don't sit in the truck when its getting weighed. HAHA
  11. Great idea. We have enough cracked flat head 6s and 8s lying around. What a way to recycle them. Cut them in have for the 3 cyl engines. HA HA!
  12. It would take to much band width HA HA. Longs nobody would get board from this build. We talked about making a little camper out of it or pull a P/15 p/u box behind it with a camper shell on it. Then we would have a little bit of a P/15 at the BBQ.
  13. This guy not running on all 6 yet. Give him a couple of BBQs. It was really a pleasure meeting you. See you next year. I vote that we have this 2 times a year. LETS VOTE!
  14. To Tim and the hole gang Both Christiane and my self had the best time of all the events we have attended. Were still talking about it at 12:39 AM Tuesday morning. Tim and your crew were amazing. As soon as I walked up the drive way, I was greeted and I new this was the place to be. For us being outsiders with our stock 34s (HA HA!!) We couldn't believe how great that each person was at this function. Tim, You know the story about Christiane losing here husband 2 years ago from a stroke. They built Dodge City Vintage in Jamestown Ca. I have not seen here have a good time from all the functions that we attended. I asked her how it was different. It was the people being genuine. Ages from 18 to 94. We got home in Sonora about 11:00 Sat night, couldn't get her to leave the camp fire. She especially loved the bird show. She loves animals. We got up early Sunday morning to go out to the pastor to pick out a truck to redo for the next event. It's not a pilot house truck, what we pick is a 1946 Dodge dry box truck that was used to deliver cookies in this area. Next year, were planning on being there for a couple of days. Were going to try and bring a truck load of Mopars. Thanks again for the good times. Dave and Christiane 2013
  15. Met Keven at the the BBQ party. We gave him a temp gauge for a 34 Dodge to repair. Very nice gentlemen to deal with and I have seen his work on the forum. He doe's excellent work.
  16. I delivered 2 of these to a guy in upper MI.about 10 years ago from Dodge city vintage in Jamestown CA. 10 years ago.
  17. Going to replace the wood on our 45 foot flat trailer. Looking to coat it with the same stuf that they coat the pick up trucks beds with. Traction and protection and a few colers ti chose from. Nice looking truck. Getting ready to put this one to use. 1939 Dodge 1 1/2 ton aux trans with 2 speed rears.
