    I sanded mine down filled the cracks with some good epoxy and sanded some more. Primed and painted with Krylon. Turned out great for under $20

    No, even at 65 psi there is still a little bulge at the bottom of the tire. They are new tires and seem to be wearing normal.

    My tires say 65 psi max cold. They are 700 X 15 radials. Should I run them at 65 psi or less?

    When I pull off the cover is some oil going to pour out?

    I have a slight leak coming from one of the bolts that hold on the cover plate on the oil pump. Do you think if I put some sealant on the bolt this will help? Or should I change the gasket? If I need to change the gasket,where can I find one?

    When I cleaned out my oil pan I found about a 1/2 inch of sludge and one keeper.

    On my 50 Plymouth,how do I tell if my coil has an internal resistor or an external resistor? Or will any six volt coil work?

    why don't you buy one of those "freon in a can " and see if it needs a recharge.

    I did this mod for my 50 Plymouth and it works great. I have some upclose pics of the new sender modified, I will post them later when I get home.

    Rotor, Cap and plugs were done last season. Do you think I can spray some carb cleaner down the carb? This is done at at idle right?

    I have a 1983 21 foot Regal with a Mercruiser 470. At Idle and slow cruse the RPM's seem to surge up and down slightly, but at cruse speed all is good. What do you guys think the problem could be?

    Fuel pump

    I received my new mechanical fuel pump from Rock Auto and it did come with a gasket. When I do install it should I use some sealant on the gasket or no? Also is there a torque spec. for the bolts?

    Dennis, I have a bottle of water wetter and am not sure if I should use it or not. I was wondering if you see a difference when using it?

    Thats what I did, I bought a single 24 inch blade for $3.99. Cut it in half and than trimmed to fit into the 2 original blades(only use the rubber part no plastic). Try not to bend the tab too much that holds the rubber in on the originals, I am sure they can get brittle. All said and done they work great,not bad for $3.99!!!

    I did some research, its built on a 1986 Lincoln chassis and has a Ford 5 Litre engine for power.
