I had the same type of marks on my #2 and #4 cylinders. I did have some broken rings and figured that is what caused the marks. I just honed them the best I could and put it back together. So far its been running great

I just sprayed my exhaust manifold with the tempo paint I stated,it withstands up to 500 deg. How hot do you think the exhaust manifold gets? I have this paint on my head and it has been holding up great.

I use Aircraft engine paint, it withstands heat up to 500 deg. Do a google search for A-207 Aluminum "Tempo". Goes on great also. Its a silver spray paint, Under $8 a can.

What do you think the life limit is on a oil pump. I am not 100% but I think my oil pump is original on my 50 Plymouth. Are the pretty much bullet proof or should I replace it before it fails?

This is good too, There was a bank robbery a few years back on long island. The robber had a friend leave a getaway car in the back with it running. He runs out of the bank gets into the car and that was when he realized he did not know how to drive a stick shift!!! -

I just purchased these on ebay a couple months ago(NEW)and love them. They are 700 X 15 radials made by Sumitomo. Blueskies tried to find these tires but had no luck. Maybe you have some different sources that can find them.My car was low and I had to get new front springs and have my rear leafs reworked for them to fit,It was well worth it and the car drives great. -
I found this antenna on the web, do you guys think it looks like it will work? Do you think it looks like the same angle as the original?

No O'Reilly's around here, the auto store that I went to does have the one you show but I do not think the base is big enough. My problem is that the previous owner had the car painted but did not remove the antenna, they just painted around the base. So I will need a base that will cover the unpainted area. Here is A Pic of the one that I have now ,you can see how much bigger the base is.I guess maybe I can make a rubber piece to go under and cover it, unless the one you show has a bigger base.Is that yours can you measure the base for me?

I may have found one at a local parts store ($9.99) that might work but it is not telescoping, do you think it will not look right if it is not telescoping?. It says it will adjust up to 18 deg , will that be enough for the fender?

Yes, whenever I hit a bump it gets fuzzy

When the car is sitting at idle it is fine, if I go out and play with the antenna it gets all fuzzy. Spark plug resistor ? what is that?

I bought a rebuilt radio on ebay that works great only thing is that there is play in the telescoping antenna and causes alot of fuzz.(when the car bounces around)
