You work like I did 20 yrs ago. Do it while you can because at 72 you do slow down a little. Be careful on how low you go because new springs will settle and some time we don't think of that. Put 200lbs in the trunk and see where it sits. I have taken front coils out 3 or 4 times to get them right. Great job you are doing. Can't wait to see next week.
I havent heard you say your car overheated yet. Don't add any water and drive it 10 miles. If it does not overheat there is probably nothing wrong with it.
The system is non presure if you have the right cap . Do you? What thermo are you running? If you are running a 195 thermo (which you should be) 200 is ok as your guage may be off a little any way. Does it rase to 200 and no more? If so you have no troubles.
cruise ins are a lot more fun then the big shows for me but I try to do some of both. The big shows are for someone else to make bucks off your time and labor.
Does anyone remember Tonys question? He said he was installing a sub frame and would like HELP OR GUIDANCE from anyone. What has he gotten but a bunch of whys-do nots- why not mopars ect. He doesn't care what others like he wants to do it his way and why not it is his car. Can anyone give any advice or are we just going to chastise him? My dime worth:D
