the guy that put this car together is screwed up. He put the shifter on the wrong side and even the wheel.

Place your truck in neutral. Jack one wheel up. Have someone count the turns on your driveshaft as you turn the wheel 2 turns. This will give you your ratio. If your driveshaft makes 2 3/4 turns you would have a 273. If it turns a little over 4 turns you have a 410 and so on. It is a good idea to place a mark of some kind on the shaft and wheel.

Use 3m black weatherstrip adhesive. Block it in overnite and its good to go.

It all depends on the builder. I know guys who have what they call rat rods that are built to the highest standards you will ever see. I also know of rat rods, hot rods, stock built and street rods that I don't even like standing next to for fear they will fall apart. We all have the look we like. I like them all. Thats just me. Build it right which means SAFE above all. I like cars and women and for some reason my wife won't let me have another women. Is she a poor sport or am I just lucky? Bill

Rodney, If your fields are bad your grass won't grow good and then your cows wont eat it and then you won't be able to get any milk for the babys then your babys won't grow and you will wind up in jail for child neglect. Better get those fields fixed NOW. Bill

Don, You should have no pitting. Very often NOS cyls will have pit from being stored in the wrong place. I would eather find new cyls with no pits or have yours sleeved. There are several cos that sleave these and warntee the for life. Bill

bat in backwards wont burn anything up. If you put bat in neg ground car will start but show discharge. Bill

Glade you got your presure down some. Back to the filters. Look at the 2 post by Shel Bizzy48. You will see that the top line comes from the main oil galley that feeds the bearings and says to filter and does NOT go through the ck valve. If you hook this line to the bottom of the filter dirty oil Will drain back into the main oil galley and into your main bearings on startup. TOP toTOP & BOTTOM to BOTTOM. ALWAYS_ALWAYS_ALWAYS Bill

Get in touch with Maryland DMV along with your serl# and have them tell you who the owner is. You can get a title through them if still around. John and Mary were in the nut house. One day while swimming John went to the bottom and didn't come up. Mary dove down brought John up. The next morning they told Mary they had some good news and some bad news for her. The good news is after you had the good sence to get John from the bottom of the pool we think you are well enough to leave here so you can leave today. The bad news is poor John hung himself last night. Mary replyed OH he didn't hang himself I hung him up to dry. Bill
