  1. My 2011 edition of Collector Car Price Guide says it's worth around $3,500 in #5 condition. #5 means it needs a total restoration but is all there. #1 condition ( show car ) is listed as $29,000.
  2. Location helps too.
  3. If your ignition switch was off I don't think overcharging the battery would harm anything but the battery. Like 49D said check your cables and maybe remove the switch on top of the starter and touch the neg. battery cable to the copper contact on top of the starter. If it turns over the starter switch is at fault.
  4. I would tend to agree with you. Part of the B has worn away. As far as I know the only trucks that had a model number starting with a P were Plymouth trucks from the previous decade.
  5. I just looked at my 52 1/2 ton and there is not a 3rd large spring at the bottom. The E brake works fine. Hmmmmm
  6. On the housings or the hood ....
  7. Bryan, Is yours an internal bypass or external bypass engine? I have one of each with your name on them. Reg
  8. The Sweptline era was from 61-71 and like Scruffy49 said the radiator is it's shorter and wider.
  9. We even had one touch down in the Sacramento,CA. area a couple of days ago and destroy a mans 2 car garage and barn. Very rare for these parts.
  10. Yes, piece of cake. a big ball peen hammer works best for me.
  11. I've never seen a 4 speed column shift. I believe a 4 speed will have to be a floor shifter.
  12. They did ? Where ?
  13. Can't help you with the id but it sure is cool. The top of the grill is similar to Packards of the 30's. Hey, I installed a Dodge hood ornament on my Yanmar tractor and the same on my golf cart so I vote YES.
  14. Hey! You can buy it on eBay for 2K less. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220788132138&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT
  15. Maybe an interior light for a Motor Home ?
  16. Bob, Like everyone else I'm glad to hear that you and Mary Ann are OK. Hang in there.
  17. How would I look into purchasing one of the tables ?
  18. Wow ! That's really nice. That would fit right in to my house under this style of clock.
  19. Ah yes.....Armour yellow. 3 of us at one of the Clements BBQ's agree. Hows about posting a photo of your yellow truck.
  20. Here's a technique developed by Christopher from the High and Lonesome desert of Washington state. I think he realigns the fenders by simply lining up the saw tooth marks. Sorry.....couldn't resist.
  21. I've done it 4 different times. A 47,a 48,and 2 52's. All 1/2 tons. Pretty much like Ed said. Here's my 47 after climbing 3000' to a camp site about 15 years ago.
  22. Thanks.....the door guards are stainless. Want a set ? I have some spares. PM me if interested.
  23. Two of my trucks were set up with 25" engine's and a 3.0 rear end with P235 75R15 tires(26.5"diam.). I could cruise all day long at 65 mph while according to the rpm calculators turning~ 2500 rpm. I have installed new tires (28.5" diam.) on my present truck with this drive train and can now travel down the road at 65 mph while the engine is only turning ~2300. I'm not sure how good my engine feels at this rpm but I know I feel good.
  24. How about a really bass heavy band. I usually come out of the closet on Friday evenings.
