  1. Thanks very much for the info. Will be contacting these guys asap. Thanks again. BMc
  2. Hello All. It's been awhile since I checked in. I have a 1952 Cranbrook that needs brake work to pass a safety inspection. The info. I was hoping to find is; the specs for turning the drums ie; minimum wall thickness before the drums must be replaced and location of either new wheel cylinders or repair kits. I'll need all four corners done and should mention that I'm located in Alberta Canada. As always any help would be much appreciated.
  3. Master Zen Thanks very much for the info. In fact the firewall tag says p23 2 so this makes sense. I'm anything but computer savvy but will try to attach a picture of "Percy". Thanks again.
  4. Hello all. Still a very good and helpful site. Speaking of which...I've purchased a 52 Cranbrook with a round pillar tag 96056320 but can`t seem to verify the history of this vehicle. I live in Alberta and am sure that it is the long blocked Canadian version. Is there for a seperate vin cataloge for those above the border. Any ideas or help would be muchly appreciated. Thanks again.
  5. Thanks folks for all the info. I'll be getting back to you after doing my measuring / homework. Thanks again.
  6. Hello all! Newbie here from Alberta. I bought a 52 Cranbrook with tired 218 long block. I have the chance to buy a 251 tug engine completely rebuilt and am wondering about swapping it for the original and what kinds of issues I should be looking for. I'll be running a George Asche OD tranny if this matters at all. Any info/advice would be muchly appreciated. Thank you.
