  1. 1935 Dodge Six Touring Sedan, 67,700 miles. Decent price, too. http://calgary.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-classic-cars-1935-Dodge-Six-Touring-Sedan-W0QQAdIdZ76664674
  2. Freecycle is continent-wide. Through Yahoo Groups. Mostly kids toys and cloths and garage sale leftovers but sometimes neat stuff shows up. I got my DeWalt table saw circa 1959 off freecycle. The saw's a gem...a keeper for sure.
  3. Kijiji is owned by eBay, it's just a classified market, no auctions or involvement from the owners...like the local Buy and Sell. Try it: http://nebraska.kijiji.com/
  4. I like it, looks good on there.
  5. How about the rear wheel well openings from driver side to passenger side?
  6. Doesn't matter, you can only see one side at a time!!!!!!
  7. That's a great idea, Don I have a rad and rad support from the DeSoto. I'll see what i can do when I get it in the garage...thanks.
  8. Norm, you can have this one if it's suitable, I won't use it...just the engine. It's from a truck, though.
  9. I would think changing that filter would make one muck of a fess!!! Would be better right side up. The engine is on that stand but the stand will barely move with both engine and trans, and it's not bolted down so a ramp would be almost impossible. Besides, the stand is Made in China!!!! Like it would survive a trip down a ramp!!! Hunk O' Crap!
  10. One of the nicer ones I've seen. I would put the old style box on it but other than that, it's good. One less for the crusher.
  11. Bob, I know a guy with a tow truck with a boom, but he's away til Monday. No rush...the old Ram sure rides nice with that thing back there One of those cranes would come in real handy more often that you think. I'll have to check into it now that I can't quite do what I used to.
  12. reminds me of my last boss:mad:
  13. and the right side doors seem to be sticking out a bit where the rear door hinges. I recall cutting the roof off an old English Envoy while in High School and the frame drooped and the doors wouldn't open. In welding class we jacked up the middle and welded a railroad rail chunk to the frame on each side. Cured the door problem but doubled the weight of the "car":D The kid I sold it to in HS in 1970 for $25 still has it!
  14. From an ad in Kijiji. http://calgary.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-parts-accessories-Dodge-Flathead-W0QQAdIdZ74781109 Guy is swapping a DeSoto Hemi into his nice green Pilothouse and had no use for this, so I guess I was first to answer the ad...or the only answer? Don't know. He told me to come by about noon and it should be just about out, and he was right. Straight into the back of my Ram p.u. on the new engine stand. He says it runs and It looks good, turns freely and comes with all the accessories. I went and procured a 24 of Bud to make the rest of their day a bit brighter. I told him about the Pilothouse site, so he may drop by...his name is Barry. Thanks Barry!!! The engine number begins with IND so it's not original. I'll check the stroke to figure out what it is. Now to figure out how to get it OFF the truck:eek: In was offered the front axle and springs and the rear end as opposed to it going to the scrapper. No idea what I'll do with 'em but can't have them going to China as scrap.
  15. Looks very similar to a ute from OZ. That cab would be worth saving for sure. Or maybe not after seeing the pics below. Seems the rust gods have claimed it as their own.
  16. Hey, Rocky...watch me pull a rabbit outa my hat!!!!!!
  17. My '49 Chrysler is in the channel as well. Same with the '49 Chrysler parts car.
  18. Glad no-one was hurt...cars can be fixed.
  19. Me, too...I wired the old Fargo clockwise
  20. How far is it from the center of the universe???
  21. I'm gonna go out to see if my export model talk converter has anything to say... maybe it converts American english to Canadian english, eh?
  22. I want some of what that seller is smokin'!!!!
  23. And "One Shot" sign paint is the best paint for this use.
  24. Courtesy Don C. in a recent post::
  25. Being a child of the 50's, I go with the whitewalls every time. My dad would have had them on every car he had but couldn't always afford them. I can and I'll put them on everything from the 30's, 40's, and 50's for sure and almost everything else. Love the look.
