  19. I added the number to the parts database. It'll be easier to find next time. Thanks.
  20. Let me know what the part # is from Roberts so I can add it to the parts list.
  21. Sounds like you're looking for Vintage Power Wagons Part # 23-42-16. Sorry the image isn't bigger. It's page 77 in their catalog http://www.vintagepowerwagons.com/
  22. I received an email the other day from the relatives of the late John Winter who owned a 1951 Dodge Woody. They are looking to sell it and would like it to go to someone who appreciates the value of a Dodge Pilothouse woody. I've attached an email from them and if anyone is interested you can contact them directly. Understand that they have already had it appraised, so they have a pretty good understanding of what it's worth. This is one picture of his woodie: Below is part of an email conversation. If you pursue this many of us would like to know how it goes. Hopefully if finds a good home with someone on this forum. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Actually those were his personal photos, which he took because his Dodge was featured in a book called "American Woodys." You can see the cover on Amazon here... his is in the upper right corner and has a number of photos and description inside: http://www.amazon.com/American-Woodys-Crestline-Donald-Wood/dp/0760308667 He purchased it used when he was in his early 20's, and restored it himself, including all of the woodwork. It's a very impressive vehicle. About six months ago he had the body lifted and put on the frame/drivetrain of a mid-80s Dodge pickup with a 318(?) ci v8 and auto transmission. He was planning on selling the Woody in that form, with the original frame/engine/tranny/wheels included as part of the sale, in case the new owner wants to change it back to original form. I know he posted an ad or two on Ebay, Hemmings, and The National Woody Club (of which he was a member) so someone probably found that photo from one of those ads. It currently needs a small amount of work (he began disassembling the engine to paint/detail it days before he passed). But rest assured, we will get it back running and in selling condition. It has been appraised by a professional collectible car appraiser and it has collectible car insurance on it. John was also in the process of building a matching trailer made from the bed of a 1951 Dodge pickup, which we'd be happy to include in the sale for free... but it is in the VERY beginning stages of building (rusty bed, disassembled trailer frame, etc.) I myself have a classic 1965 Mustang in showroom condition (that was handed down to my by my grandparents who purchased it new in 1964), so I know the love and value these old cars inspire. We do want it to go to someone who will appreciate all the hard work John put into it. I will be happy to provide detailed photos (both now and before restoration) and information (as much as I can find) of the Woody to any interested people. Thank you so much for your help. I can be contacted via this email, or through my website (address below). I'd also be happy to chat with anyone interested via phone when the time comes. Sincerely, Graeme Hunt (and Trish Winter) Tucson, AZ _______ www.graemehuntdesign.com email: graemehunt@yahoo.com
  23. you asked about going to a dual master cylinder. As this topic has generated quite a bit of discussion previously (before you joined us) I'll give you a few links from previous forum posts. This may help. If you want to read more just do a search on "dual master" or something like that. The search button can become quite a friend working on these trucks. 1: http://www430.pair.com/p15d24/mopar_forum/showthread.php?t=13174&highlight=master+cylinder 2: http://www430.pair.com/p15d24/mopar_forum/showthread.php?t=8091&highlight=master+cylinder 3: http://www430.pair.com/p15d24/mopar_forum/showthread.php?t=14769&highlight=dual+master 4: http://www430.pair.com/p15d24/mopar_forum/showthread.php?t=1878&highlight=dual+master 5: http://ecihotrodbrakes.com/chrysler_master_assemblies.html Have fun reading
  24. I don't want to steal anyone's thunder here as it's exciting to get one's truck on a calendar. All of the DPETCA members have calendars going out into the mail this week. They were delayed this year for a variety of reasons, mainly it took longer to get them printed and I'm still waiting on the USPS to deliver the stamps so I can send out. All 200 of them. But they should go out by the end of the week. There are 12 mighty fine images of our members pilothouse trucks, all selected by some of our own members doing the judging.. Look forward to getting these soon.
  25. Good info. I'm putting that site in our directory.
