    Brake problem I have had like this if your shoes have the bands glued on be sure one isn't coming loose on end it will make one brake lock up bad.

    swapped ring and pinion from 3:73 into 4:10 rearend in b4b that I had. I know your suppose to have gauges and all to set it up. But how important is that in these old trucks with slow speed. I didn't have ant problems with mine.

    It was always a hassle to work gas pedal and floor starter at same time with right foot. No problem with this one.

    My 50 dodge just like the dark green one has gyromatic` works great. Not a hotrod but not meant to be. Just a lot of reliable fun to cruise in.

    WEnt to rte 66 carshow in springfield ill sat. Saw a lot of ply street rods especially late 30's. They make real nice ones though street rods aren't my thing.

    Wonder how he put that resister on side of oil filter. Surely he didn't drill a hole for screw.

    My dodge with fluid drive has 3:73 desoto would probably be the same if fluid drive.

    That is right. Had a 53 wagon in mid 60's. Great old car wish I had it now.

    My 50 coronet smokes on start up after sitting a few days. When running at speed if I let it coast a while it will blow blue smoke when I step on it. Runs great, compression 90 to 95 [ a little low?] plugs all look normal not sooty or oily.?????

    I wouldn't drive it that hot. Have a 50 dodge coronet now. Even with new radiator it ran hot. Put a 7 blade fan on it. All is good now.
