  1. I ran those fire injectors in a 383 ply. Still got my regular 12 miles per gal but could run any old cheap gas and never got a spark knock. E 3 s are probably another miracle plug that would not be worth $6 each.
  2. Saw a pack of those plugs years ago. They were worn out used plugs that had been sandblasted.
  3. If it would fly upside down would be a neat lawn mower.
  4. Be very careful with any flame around acetone. Very volitile I think thats the word I want.
  5. Try closing choke 1/4 way Mine did that but was alright with choke closed a little. Guys on here said I had a vacumn leak but I could never find it. Don't have that truck anymore but now am reading about slot in gasket under carb. Wonder if mine didn't have it.
  6. I had this problem and lining on one shoes was coming loose. Check it close I took it apart three times before I saw this.
  7. That would be a guess but I say automatic just because I,ve seen a lot of those but only one manual. Dad had a 49 fastback couldn,t keep a trans in it.

  12. I used a 3:21 out of a 73 dodge 1/2 ton. Used my original drive shaft with no change to u joint. Had to use spring mounts off my 53 truck as they were narrower and in about an inch or so.
  13. Had a study v8 back in the 60s.pulled heads and 2 valves looked just like that.replaced them and did valve job it ran like a new one.

  16. amazing how good some of the bumpers and grills looked on some moss covered cars.
  17. I used a 3:21 from a 73 dodge pickup. Used 53 mount pads as newer pads were wider.
  18. I got skirts for my 50 dodge from agape. Custom made for your car. Mine fit and look great really happy with them. $225
  19. If you don't use the resistor it will burn up points pretty fast.
  20. When mine were little we always used the one that hooked over the seat back. Only kind there was in late 60s
  21. I drilled out a broken e z out one time with a carbide bit. Only problem was I couldn't center punch it and drilled just a little off center.
  22. Look at the pedals now.
  23. I don't care at all for the low side beds. Sure do love the panel trucks though.
  24. Has nice bucket seats.
