Always a great time here.  Weather was perfect, full crowd and dealers too.

Scored an NOS  Radiator for my D-24  !

Things for this hobby I never thought I'd see .. are at Hershey.

Now to sell my used, spare radiator .

Had a great first time myself as well. Came home with a few treasures including the rarer than hens teeth distributor mount for my 1928 Chrysler model 52. Also grabbed this exhaust whistle that I’ll install on her at some point. All in all a 10 out of 10 experience for me. I’ll definitely do it again, but I think a folding micro bike will help alleviate some of the walking.

Conn.........apologies if its a rude question but what did you pay for the NOS radiator............I'm amazed that one exists............good score.

Yeah, I'm morbidly curious, too.  Our original radiator went kaput year before last, couldn't find an NOS one, bought a used one for parts (other than the core) to have the original one restored. $$$$!

Clayton and Rich met up again at Hershey.  Hope more members can plan to attend this great event. You never know what you will find each year.

I scored a Panel light switch for my 39 desoto and also purchased two water distribution tubes one 23 and the other 25 inch's for $15. Then the same vender had a almost new Borg and Beck Pressure plate for my 39 Desoto. He then told me that I could have the unit for the $5 in change that he gave me back form the purchase of the two tubes.

So for $5 i had to carry the PP back to my site but well worth the walk.  This goes into my supply of parts.

Also got several 11 and 10 inch deadlocker wiper blades.  10 inch is the proper size but the 11 inch fits and provides more area on the windshield to remove the rain.

Also purchased a 1960 Dorman Parts catalog that show a lot of the replacement parts that they carried for our cars. Great reference catalog, got this for a $1 almost brand new.

Had the pleasure of meeting with Ed Speigel from Pittsburgh. great MoPar vender

Did well in selling some of my 39 parts.

HI Rich, I was sorry to miss you at Hershey.

I had you down for Orange Field OAD 7-8, but when I wandered by Thursday AM I only saw a modern vehicle but no people around or parts for sale 😕. Was I too late or at the wrong spot?

Chris: You were at the correct spot and that was my car.  I was open on Tues/Wed and then on thursday i decided to do some walking of the fields. Sorry that I missed you.

Hope you found some parts for your car.  i plan to be at the 2025 Hershey event next year.  Did you get to see any of the cars on the show field?

Had I been thinking, I would have emailed you early in the week to ensure we would cross paths.  I bought very little at the flea market but that was intended, as I have no big projects or needs right now.

We watched the cars driving into the show field for an hour (and wow, was that great) and walked the show for about an hour. They we high-tailed it back to Canada to catch our flight home from Toronto.

This was my first time going to Hershey. I walked non-stop for 8 hrs on Thursday. I enjoyed the car show on Friday but getting there on Thursday is not optimal for the swap meet. Gotta think about how to do things next year.

Nice find on that radiator. I’m at a standstill right now Kus I want a new one myself . I have been looking at the champion one to replace my old one before I get it restored.. but was hoping to find original without giving up a body part… so nice sir.

Yes thursday is the real last day of the swap meet. Everyone basically packs up and goes home becasue most people are only going to the car show on Friday.

Mondayis packin day for the venders to setup their site ad get their items out. Sometime you can find items but still have to walk alot. Tues is the official start and Wendesay is the second day with Thursday the wind down day.

If you can spend the 4 days then you can walk most of the fields. It would be better if they could organize the venders by some sort of order by GM, FORD and Mopar and then just general mechandise. But I have found that the sellers that have all kinds of items might have the odd ball part and some of the times they do not even know what it might fit and you can get some good items.

About 20 years ago there would be venders that would buy in odd lots of stuff and they would sell items in the large container for $5.00 for each item.  i pickup some great items like switches and other small parts.  You could spend a whole day just in one box. Those were the good old days.
