Draft tube leaking oil

Your compression is kind of low, should be around 100. So would suspect worn rings causing more crankcase pressure than normal.  Watch your oil level if it gets down to add, run it till it below add and see if that changes the quantity of flow.  My dad ran his dodge flatheads at the add mark. Thar seemed to relieve a lot of leaking from various places.

Don't over tighten the side covers.  They use the thumb screws to keep you from bending the covers . Leave the pliers and channel locks in the tool box!  Do check them while they are off.  A little tinkering with a light hammer and good sized drift can help improve their sealing abilities.

Also suggest a thorough cleaning of the side covers, then I'd use a wipe of contact adhesive to glue the cork gaskets to the covers which will help to ensure that the gaskets stay where they should when the covers are attached..........andyd
