Yep, 1941 Chrysler 6person Club Coupe.....whats it worth?......in the condition shown IF everything not on the car is still there somewhere, maybe $1-2000 on a good day.......maybe less........if it was a Business Coupe, ie, the short roof 3 Window Coupe then they seem to be much more popular and even in that condition might bring a bit more.......but that one pictured is a pretty sad example.....not saying its NOT restorable or roddable just there a lot more work.....whats the floors, rockers, pillars like?............is there any decent chrome with it, rechroming could easily get into high 4 figures with bumpers, grille headlight surrounds etc........whats the interior like, the dash etc...........I'm a hotrodder and while I do like stock original cars this looks like a strong candidate for hotrodding but I still like stock grilles & bumpers etc.........BTW.....Welcome Aboard from Oztralia.......and John  Lees "Standard catalog Of Chrysler states 2845 New Yorker 6 person Coupes made in 1941........Andy Douglas

Looks like a cool car but a lot of work. 1,000 bucks maybe if you have a title. I buy complete running or almost running cars all day for 2k. Are you here for info or just to sell it?

I was looking at a '41 4 door a few months ago in "beater" condition (better than this.) One thing I noticed was the heavy use of then-modern plastics on the instrument panel (Tenite, maybe Catalin.) 100% of it was shot. A custom dash would be the way to go, I guess.

Whenever I see a 1941 Chrysler on ebay I always like to check out any dash pics as it seems like there may have been a couple of different shades of plastic offered or used, I've seen pics showing cream or white pieces but also some with a blue/green marbling......almost all appear to have some sort of warping also......andyd

1941 Chrysler Club Coupe. Mostly as 6 cyl but also offered with 8 cyl. Hood looks rather long, but ID plate in engine bay will tell more.

The marbleized plastic was offered in five colors: Neutral Onyx, Green Onyx, Blue Onyx, Highlander Red and Highlander Green.

In addition it was offered in solid colors: maroon, green, blue. All these could be mixed.

Combined with colored or French Walnut Burl and Walton Burl was usually used on the Crown Imperial

Upholstery choice of 13 different colors.

Mine is solid tan basic color and tan broad cloth. Original Arizona customer opted instead for accessories, clock, radio, 15" rim, Fluid Drive. locking gas cap, etc.

Its interesting that Chrysler by then was offering 8 colour choices of plastic dash pieces as well as upholstery in 13 colours and this in 1941, and that 80 years later very few cars apart from those in the super expensive categories like Rolls, Bentley and the supercar classes offer anything more than a couple of choices when it comes to interiors..

..........back in the mid 1970's I was fortunate to be able to find and buy a 1948 Chrysler Windsor, these were apparently fully imported by the State or federal governments for official use, story is 12 or 20 all black cars all with the Highlander upholstery came into Oz.........I know that at least 3 certainly seemed to have because my car had a second pair of taillights bolted onto the area between the original taillights and trunk opening........plus it had another, third set loose in the trunk with extra chrome moldings and other bits & pieces.....

...........I paid, I think $100 for the car, unregistered but driveable and complete.........I rented a local garage for about 2 years as I had run out of space at home, both myself & brother were into cars and at one stage had over a dozen cars in and around our parents house, the backyard, front yard footpath and on the street........lol.........I ended up selling the 48 Chrysler for I think about $200 and even had to drive it to the young guys place, about 25-30 kms down the local highway one sunday morning very early.......

............heres the only 2 pics I ever took of this car...still miss it, was like driving the Titanic............and I absolutely loved the dash, everything including the clock worked..........

..............ah.......thems was the days, I was bright eyed, bushy tailed, young & silly......lol......now, just silly......lol...Andy Douglas

From here that looks like a parts car. Maybe give 500.00 or less for it. Only if the rest of the pieces are there.  I know some people have started with less and ended up with a running driving vehicle, but I wouldn't go there.

Totally agree!

Anything is restorable but even if you did all the work yourself, you would still be looking at tens of thousands of dollars! More if you farm some of it out! It needs everything!!

If this exact car was your grandpa's, so that it has sentimental value, then that's one thing, but otherwise, I'd say it's rat rod material.  If you hate them, then maybe keep looking, unless they let it go for parts car price.
