Dodgeb4ya Posted June 9, 2021 Report Posted June 9, 2021 "And a fifth blade on the fan. Where do I get that option? " Buy a Chrysler with a straight "8" and your fan will have five blades. Typical eight cylinder Chrysler fan. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted June 9, 2021 Report Posted June 9, 2021 my 54 Plymouth factory 230 has the better fan.... Quote
NoGoFargo Posted June 9, 2021 Report Posted June 9, 2021 Some of the industrial engines had 5 blade fans. I have one from a late 60’s Bombardier SW48 that’s going to go in my 53 Fargo Quote

chrysler1941 Posted June 10, 2021 Report Posted June 10, 2021 More fan blades will put a load on engine. There's a reason why only 8, industrials etc had these. Quote

I dig it that is the exact reason for the statement...the artist is putting his work forward...not the actual display of the product as it will be to the public...nothing wrong with that...IF folks realize it is "art" and not a picture. 2 Quote

Plymouthy Adams Posted June 10, 2021 Report Posted June 10, 2021 it is amazing that this asymmetrical approach has also proven on the dyno increase in HP....even the brand X folks like the mopar asymmetrical design fan for performance as it has less parasitic loss. Quote
