rrunnertexas Posted May 19, 2021 Report Posted May 19, 2021 My 1935 Plymouth could use some new carpet. A quick search revealed a company "stockinteriors.com" and they list what appears to be a nice custom fit set in multiple colors. Does anyone have experience with the carpet from them? Decent set or keep looking? Thanks! David Quote

Wondering how they turned out. My interiors are fine, but need the trunk carpet after having to cut it up looking for bolts and fuel sending unit cap! I figured I’d just take it to a local auto upholstery shop. Quote
rrunnertexas Posted May 23, 2021 Author Report Posted May 23, 2021 I have not ordered any yet. Was hoping to get a bit more input, but maybe not many have ordered from this company to provide advice. May order a carpet set in the next few months and give it a shot. Quote
James_Douglas Posted May 26, 2021 Report Posted May 26, 2021 I like to use a carpet that works great and is very quiet. But, you need to have an experienced upholsterer use it and it is not cheap. The stuff is from Bill Hirsh and it is a wool hogs hair carpet. James 3 Quote

rrunnertexas Posted May 27, 2021 Author Report Posted May 27, 2021 James, sure looks great! Booger, so it is decent and will fit with a bit of adjustment. What I like to hear. Carpet is on the radar now. Quote

James_Douglas Posted August 8, 2021 Report Posted August 8, 2021 The raw carpet is from Bill Hirsh. My local San Francisco Bay Area upholsterer custom cut it, bound it and installed it along with rebuilding the seats, the door panels and the like. James 1 Quote

bartenderfloyd Posted December 17, 2021 Report Posted December 17, 2021 I got mine from Kanter (https://www.kanter.com/index.aspx). Call them though because their website is a bit lacking. Their catalogue (I mean...who uses catalogues anymore, LOL!) is much nicer and has more stuff in it. I didn't install it yet but I will once it snows and I put her away for the winter. I'll post pics then. Quote
MarcDeSoto Posted December 18, 2021 Report Posted December 18, 2021 JC Whitney is still around? I used to get their catalog all the time, but haven't heard from them since the 80s! Quote
