I have an NOS Chrysler window crank with a plastic knob, but I don't know what car it fits.  It has the Royal Crown logo on it, so I know it's for a Chrysler, but all of the 46-48 Chryslers I've seen, including the 50 Chrysler Windsor I used to drive in the 80s had an all chrome knob that could swivel and flip.  So what does this plastic knob fit?  Maybe it's for the quarter window or something, or maybe for the lower line Royal model?

1156238 is for 1946-48 lower line Royal and Saratoga cars.

Thanks Dodge!  Was it just for the quarter windows, or was it for the front windows also?

It was for the front and rear windows

As above ...all four windows.

That info out of the 46-48 Chrysler factory parts book.

Those are hard to find NOS.

The higher line Windsor/ NewYorker Lavalier Lucite clear  handles are 99.9% near impossible to find NOS....

Especially the shorter rear cpe and convert handles.

Yes mine had these. Swapped them out with the luxury package with flippers and chrome indicator arm.

Escutcheon  are very rare. They look like other MoPars but are flatter.

I have the lucite flipper knobs but the metal bracket inside the flipper broke on one side. I was considering how that might be repaired reliably?!

I found a site that sells the little pins that go inside ... need to find the link .

only one is still on the handle, but three are loose. Thoughts on what kind of craftsman can repair the inside of the handle to stay back on the arm?

I hade to buy 4 different broken ones to make 2.

Plastic part was heated and removed showing the internals. One had pin but missing spring. Took a spring from a pen.

Hope you can find the link.

Dennis Bickford in New Mexico repairs/repaired the Town and Country flipper handles..1941 -50.

I don't have his info anymore.

He sells parts and some services for the T&C cars.

He might have the handle parts too possibly.

I thought when you said pins, it was the flipper pin that makes them flip.

This one for the square, just use Slotted Spring Pins

Hmm, I thought they were those too.

looks like the one spare pin I do have. I’m away from home for a while so I can’t look, but the flipper itself had a couple of metal slots that the handle goes into, and there is a pin that holds the whole bit together. Looked a lot like these...
