Dennis Posted April 12, 2021 Report Posted April 12, 2021 We need new wheel cylinders for our '40 Dodge. We see some listed on Ebay from moparpro. Does anyone know if moparpro and Andy Bernbaum are the same company? Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted April 12, 2021 Report Posted April 12, 2021 they are not......now if they have the same supplier....I cannot say... Quote
desoto1939 Posted April 12, 2021 Report Posted April 12, 2021 go to NOS stock the older not new production crap either Wagner or EIS manufacturer. Or have you old one brass sleeved. Rich Hartung Quote
Sniper Posted April 12, 2021 Report Posted April 12, 2021 Problem with NOS is that the rubber from that long ago is likely compromised. Needing a rebuild anyway and at that point having your original stuff redone might make sense. Quote
Marcel Backs Posted April 12, 2021 Report Posted April 12, 2021 Rebuilt old WC is better than catalogue fare. Quote

BY getting NOS not Current old Stock you will be getting a better made unit. and not the crap that they try to passoff as NOS. When I purchase the real old NOS brake parts i alwasy clean them and look at the internals to make sure there is no melted rubber from the cups, if found then I pass these up. They have to be clean. Just use your judgement on condition. Rich Hartung desoto1939@aol.com Quote
