Merle Coggins Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 Norm, If you're gonna put together a Kettle Moraine shot you could at least put some color in it. That road looks a lot like Emerald Rd, near Holy Hill in the lower Kettle Moraine area. That's where I took this pic. Quote
Brad Lustig Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 Forgot all about the polls I ran until just now. Found this one from a while back on forum participant age http://vote.sparklit.com/poll.spark/861878 Quote
bigred48 Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 Here maybe this one will be a little bit more proof. Me and the coupe in Alexandria MN. I believe the statue was called big Olie. this is definitly in alexandria. i can back that claim Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 Merle, that shot was taken in either southern Fond du lac or northern Washington County near the border of Fond du lac and Washington County. It's been so long forgot exactly. Do have the shot in color but converted it to black and white after scanning it into the computer several years ago. When this picture was done it didn't even have a motor in the car. Had to use pedal power with the floor out to drive it to the park. Made the picture for someone in NY back in the late 90's who wanted to use it for some jazz documentary movie. That's why I made it black & white. Hey, with a computer we can drive our cars on water, and we can prove it. :D Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 Don, Pete, VanBuskirks and I all wound up at the same restaurant in Tulsa for lunch on Friday. Spectators liked seeing the cars, too. Quote

Allan Faust Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 There ya go, Don. You could do an age poll by decades......age 20 to 30, 30 to 40, etc....might be interesting. Problem is, where do I stand, I'm changing decades next week..... Allan Quote
RobertKB Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 Allan, you stand where your two feet be planted. I looked at your profile and congrats on soon turning 40. I remember that quite a while back and 40 is a great age. Lots of experience yet lots of time ahead. Enjoy your birthday. As I always say, birthdays are good for you.....the more you have, the longer you live! Quote
47dodgepu211 Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 Taken a few weeks ago from a friends car with a cell phone. Looks like the dang brakes went out again. Hope there is a runaway truck field up ahead! 47dodgerpu211 Quote
