Viva Las Vegas 2017... Who's Going?

Viva Las Vegas 2017 isn't that far off for many of us who still have trucks under construction. Last year, I was the only 50's Dodge truck at the show with well over 500 entries. This year it seems there is a satin black C3 that I don't recognize from this forum and myself already registered.

The first 500 cars registered get free entry to the show. There are live bands, vendors, cars and obviously the casino. Who is ready to come out and make a big Dodge showing?

April 13-16 with the main show being on Saturday the 15th

any "auto places" of interest you can recommend?  

 

I will have to check the car show out some time though. The claim they make "The Viva Las Vegas Car Show is the best car show of its type anywhere. Cars are strictly pre-63 and must be in a style from that era."

I would think BTT50's would be hard to beat!   Still,... looks like fun

I would be interested if they can bring back Ann-Margret as she was back then. Otherwise it is just another car show......

Perhaps they can substitute Elizabeth Shue. But wait, she was leaving Las Vegas.

BrentB3B... The Linq car show is prett good and used to be known as the Imperial Palace car collection. My other favorite is much smaller, but you can also visit the Carroll Shelby museum/factory.

It's a great show and weekend if you do the whole deal. Car show, concerts, pool party, burlesque shows, tattooing, bowling and the list goes on and on. It's a pinup/rockabilly fest!

Last year the headliners at the car show were Brian Setzer and Dick Dale. It was a great time.

This year, the headliners haven't been announced yet, but Wanda Jackson is performing inside the casino! That's a must see for me.

I'd love to go, but near impossible that time of year with seed sales for work...some day I'll get there....as long as the shows still going in 20/25 years

" must be in the style of that era". Must then be an original patina show! It's a 6 hr drive for me, the best part of Vegas are the outside shows on the street and circus del sol. My truck would win hands down.

Due to the bands playing this year... I will be there from Thursday to Sunday. This is a couple day event if you really want the full experience!
